don't get me wrong. i don't state that euro 1.5 isn't overbought or euro can grow faster than the cancer at the final stage. it's normal that any mini bubles may boom to 1.40 1.35

but 1.25 1.10 is not the price where we go
my charts from the year 2000 show up movement and i'm afraid to trade against the 10 year trend. however it seems to me that the trend established much earlier 20 or even 30 year ago

depends on whos in the big house. is where the usd goes. and not the one popular belief dictates. that 10 year you speak of was at the rape of the u.s. all on bs... look where usd sat as dow was at 14k.. thank your grandkids cause they will pay for it.

i agree with you LAO i am bull all the way on eu. trend is your friend till the end cos most of the economics fundlememtels are contradictory like i hear some one say inflation is bad cos fed hav to raise interest rate that means it dearer to borrow, Well who the hell said borrowing was a good anyway if you get my drift and they go on and on well @ least the chart is not bullshiting!
im considerin buying in nxt hour around 1.4300 will any one join or its a bad idea.

Hi guys,

first of all I think, this is supposed to be a place to share opinions, isn´t it? Therefore the egos should stay in the background and everybody should be welcome to have share his/her point of view without getting punched :-)
We should rather see the different views as food for thoughts....

Secondly I think nobody here trades TF´s as long as 10 or 20 and more years. Tops 1 or two years i would say...
So why would we want to discuss what was going on way back in the past? Times are different now and nobody knows what the future will bring.
We all can only state our best guesses and some maybe right, some wrong...but this remains to be seen.

Last but not least I also don´t see any real reason why the euro should go down as far as 1,2 or 1,1.....even during the "crisis" it didn´t go lower as 1,23.
But I also don´t see why it should go higher as in July 08 ...both, the US as well as Europe, have their challenges going on and still ahead...so only time will tell where we will be in the future.
It is in nobody´s interest neither for the dollar going to the dumps nor for the euro...so there will be a balance somewhere and from that point only major events will shake either one...

That´s just my humble 2 pips...

All I know is that you have had people yelling BUY, BUY, BUY at 1.480, then at 1.470, then at 1.460, then at 1.450, then at 1.440, and now at 1.430. I will go long when the market shows me it wants to be long, and to me it hasn't done that yet.

I think caution is advisable for long or short over the next few months. Fundamentals on both sides are hosed, have been for quite a long time. It is getting to the point now where we are only just starting to see how bad things really are.

As far as I judge the charts and the "funnymentals" I agree with you. But I wouldn´t buy a big number of lots yet because it might as well test the 200sma around 1.4170, go even a bit lower and then turn around and run up again...

I'd short it all the way down to 1.35. Going to slowly head south till they raise interest rates. Just my take

Depends on the TF as far as I am concerned. I think, it is time to be careful now because the pair has almost reached the 200sma and a pretty nice support area for a new range...

on one platform i have a high of 4370 and the other 4373. the platform im charting on said 4370 so adjust yours accordingly. i said 4372 was a number i was watching reaction with. well pa retreated at 70. but we did not make a new low. so untill all the post concerning 72 86 still in affect.

ok now if we head south i got different readings, the first is a low of 4259 plus next ass chart level.. at 4240....another 4238 another 4226 then 4098 and last 4217 then 4060 ass chart out of levels this far down so i extended it. but i may nahe to go to medium term oct chart. just watching atm.. 4306 is a little support on the smaller pc.. that take us to 4259...

i place buy limit i hope the firrst part of your arrow is right up to 350ish dont know after that but ther is definatly a double top on mnt and i.400 should be a good support if it fall.
