What do you guys think about the weekly pin on this pair?
Price closed the week on top of the yearly .382 fib which seems to have held up well as solid Sup/Res going back to OCT08.
I know it's hard to see Euro making a big reversal but these daily/weekly pins don't lie.

It's hard to trade pin bar at crowded area (blue box).

I'm a day trader so for me, I'm going to wait for a clearer signal before looking for an entry point. IMHO PB's that are in a consolidation zone can be tricky. I've attached a 4H chart which also shows a PB but it did not break the support level.

Couple of reasons I'm waiting:
- The velocity of the wave down in the blue area makes me cautious on going long. From what I've read in the fundamentals, BOJ wants the Yen devalued and has been pumping Yen in the system yet the trend is in the opposite direction since October.
- E/J has a tendency to hit a support level a couple of times and then blow right through it. It's hit this level 5 times since March. Sooner or later this support level might crumble

If I go long, using the weekly and 4H PB as a signal, then I'm going to look for a pattern much like the pattern in the green circle. Most likely a 50% fibo retrace and then a slow steady move up.

If I go short, then I will wait for a break of the support level of 127.00, wait for the spike down and then a retrace back or near the support turned resistance level of 127.00.

I'm not trying to influence anyone, just wanting to add knowledge.

i dont have my entry plan yet but i have my exit plan if i jump in a long position

edit: just added one more chart.. if all those white lines will be broken then i ll go long..

i dont know maybe H1 Traingle good place to open position,i expect long but this is Forex i will trade what i see...

This is the current situation on my princip,We have high and low and now waiting to break high or low zone... This is Market open and my advice dont open any trade now,i wil open on demo this time when i see chance...

I agree with your analysis. I'd be surprised to see a significant rally from here and will be looking for short opportunities this week and in the new year. I would love nice clean break of 127 but then there's the 124.5 level to worry about.

In terms of waiting, I'm in the same boat. I hate taking bounces off of highs/lows with a passion. Looking at H1 as it is now I don't want to touch it with a ten foot pole. Gonna wait it out and entertain myself with the threads on this site haha.

Yea when i say Market open,no ses open ...THis is test phase,i didnt trade nearly when market open and i opened trade to see what will hapen...

Ok cool. You da man Petar. I wonder how much activity there will be this week. I'd prefer the market to be quiet so I don't feel compelled to trade.

Hi Guys,

I'm new in this,
I'm using fibbo & fibbochannel on my EJ chart, it's more clearer picture, like this
