yes... been trying to short this pair for months.. my mega pending entry was at 5171.. i missed it.. next one was 5140 i missed it too.. i entered manually at 5082.... but i unload at precieved major supports and wait to renter at bounce. sometimes i exit short with a double buy and exit then again with a double sell.. it extends pipage.. ..i dont have to say im in a single trade for 3 years... i ride the trend as a long termer but exit a bunch.. its more work.. but worth it.. ca now about 4762..

there should be a limit, traders and habits are different.

someone can make 200pips profit from a 100pips daily chart, as it is moving up&down, usually.

Buffet would be the LAST person to say sell my stocks, I want to lose another 20 billion like I did last year.

IMO, only stocks I'd touch would be european.

my view real simple, it was going up, broke trend line, came back test trendline, now will test lows. it's a long-term monthly chart, but if it was a 30-min chart, i'd look at it the same way

Tanked 130 points. Scalp EU here and there, now in EURCHF/EURGBP

AS they are at the lowest above support.. BTW I got Big Nice Christmas

i like it simple. but what if it rebounds and current low becomes low of new uptrend? former uptrend was too steep anyways.

never know, but i'd not get bullish until the downtrend TL is broken. - Currently would have go above around 4500

Okay, so I am busy with something else.....bit I was very intrigued by this response. The "slight retracement" I am referring to are the bulls trying to gain between 50-100 profits on a hourly or intra day basis. I am NOT referring to the downtrend. I am with you as a bear....looks like you misread my comments. See my journal and you will know I have been short since the beginning of the month, and as one of the other shorters has been doing, I have also been trying to short this pair for months......since May to be precise. Pleasant trading.

happens now it's just a temp "END of YEAR" Balance sheet Debit/Credit

when New Financial Year starting.. Till then people will still selling losing position

to get their $3k (what a joke) break in Taxes. End of the year always Sell off

at some point.. No worries.. I'll wait till EU stop going down. Not expecting

anything with Market been -130. Why I didn't play yesterday, - I don't know.

My chart was perfect, when I said buy, about 1.4588 and SELL below1.4505

Let me see for possible play for tonight:

BUY STOP 1.4378 Possible upside target 1.4456

SELL STOP 1.4300 (Target unknowing will take 50 pips)

Stop LOSS 30 pips TP 40-50 PIPS

With EUR/CHF bumping down against 1.500 many are chattering about potential SNB intervention. They've done it couple times before this year, buy euros to jack up E/C by 300-pips or more. Looking back at June & March interventions, though, doesn't look like those actions had much effect on E/U

After a big drop such as we've seen over last couple weeks, might be the invitation bulls have been waiting for. Or not.

Something to keep in mind currently if you're hedging with CHF in any way....
