can i ask where did u place yur stop loss for this..
i will never understand how an trader like yourself that has been around from god knows when has no vouche..
at what point would u have said this trade isnt working out..how was u managing the stop loss are with this?..this trade got me..i was short same plan but when dailly closed bullish above 1.50..i lost faith

In order for most of my brokers to make money from me they have to take my money. They are on the other side of the trade! A bit like a casino that I wrote about some time ago here. So I place a stop so far away it is unlikely for it to be hit. Ever heard of broker stop hunting? It's real. It happens. Thousands of times every day. But there could be a Margin Stop.
How is it possible to survive without using a Stop Loss? Trade tiny lots and use predetermined risk based on the size of each account. I have several accounts with 10K in each. I've had three margin calls in the last seven years. And in one it still ended with a profit as was documented live in one of my old journals.
Therefore, I have no concerns about a pre - determined stop loss or a maximum trading position size. On most of my "play" accounts - all MT4 EAs - they regularly take profit when they can and close losing trades based on price action. An example of one is my live statement in my signature below.
Specifically, in your case nAVIN2007, if you lost faith in your strategy it may have been because you doubted your strategy or were uncomfortable with the mounting loss. If it was the latter then use a smaller lot size. If it was a strategy issue then change it. But give the revised strategy time to work. Say over a year?
My EAs say when any set of trades isnt working out. I rarely interfere. In the one proper account I have where I use a bank guarantee to trade I have access to a bit more than 10K. I use that mainly for medium term position trading.
I don't have any vouches because I don't agree with that system which grew out of 1KT. Most people here who are established - and able to vouch - remember that. Many of whom I respect but disagree with many of their views. You can read my opinion then on that here if you want.
Do not focus on making money; focus on protecting what you have.

Short. But not before 8:30 Initial Claims.
How low it can go with 0% Interest. DB target already reached.

Any long I take right now would be a ultra-brief small timeframe scalp. You've got a killer downward trend on the 4H with a flipping to the short side on the daily and weekly. If I start to see signs of downtrend invalidation of the 4H, I'll start considering long.
But every small long is a chance, have to be careful where to exit
