The move in Gold and silver during this euro down draft has been rather subdued...interesting, perhaps telling of shift to hard assets. I would have expected 1120 on gold, 1720 on silver - but they're holding up nicely...hmmm.

Forgive my sarcasum, but because you tossed a coin and got it right, it doesn't mean you need to spam this thread.

Finding a logical point to 're-enter' this "HUGE DOWNTREND OF USD GAINING STRENGTH" would be a good thing to do. Rather than screaming you are right.

And no, I was not long. I was short, 4 times. I just get sick of mindless banter.

To those that care, the current move could be because of a deal of a few commod companies getting blocked by Aus govt, which = they are dumping their euro reserves. It also has alot to do with the RBA Hinting a possible pause, whilst speculators thinking the US will raise rates prior to when they are forecasting. Word getting aruond is it could be as early as march?

Looks like an averaging of reserves to me to be honest.

Throw up a weekly chart that runs for 5 years and you can find a line of support/resistance on practically every tick. The more recent a support/resistance level is, the more valid.

This is just some year-end profit-taking & its not possible to really say when it will be done.

Scalping short, though, has been good.
I have a feeling all these down turn have something to do with year end. My first year end so not sure what to expect ....

I have my 1.4387 and 1.4433 longs for now, lost some with SL at 1.4483 and 1.4444 from 1.4509/13 and 1.4466.

The lost was controlled, but I do not like to lose. But I say when I lose.

I have some conflicting charts now, but after this move waiting to see 1.4700 again before new drops is too much luck I guess.

Let me see what to do with my longs.

I hope that traders know to accept and control the loses, even with today lost I am positive for the week.

It should of been support, but right now everything is weak. It's DECEMBER. PA doesn't play by rules too much this time of year.

just to settle matters straight , I am no dollar bull , i honestly expect euro to be stronger than dollar in long term , but the market shows only what is going on right now , and that is US buck showing strengtht at this moment.

Yes, the trend has been pretty clear so far, it's just dropping down through to the next major support level and retracing to the previous swing low. Selling at the swing low has done well.
