The explanation they put in writing as to why they disallowed US hedging does have the traders best interest, that cannot be argued, regardless of what interest they ultimately have.

I keep telling people central banks are irrelevant as they follow market. Australian central bank raised interest rates 3 times and Aussie is struggling as that news was probably already priced in. Same in Europe 2008 June Euro struggled to make new highs as news was already price into there being an interest rate increase.

probably they heard of hedge funds , and how much they hurt us bankers .

I cannot see how they can do it to protect small traders since they are minuscule compared to banks , usa is out of theier minds .
