Numbers may be slightly off but we may have bounced off a 50% fib

It can continue lower but if it blows the 1.4340(61.8%) area then its headed below 1.39 (Unlikely)


The other more plausible scenario is that the bear is done, (although vulnerable bull stops might be hunted at 1.4480)
before it continues much higher (1.5366 )

A buy at current levels( 1.4490-1.4520) might be rewarding,

but i could be wrong

don't think so though price should go again up from 1.4540 or lower level ,may be over 1.4570 last time 1.4578 or below 93 max. i guess and it should down to the base ,not up.people may not care a dead horse much.

interesting thing is euro weakness hit a brick wall..but dollar refusing to lose strength..this whole move with dollar is rediculious i have to say..when it was looking bullish there was no stregth and it looked like it was gonna collapse its strong as a mother..what to do

Opps. 35 pip fall in the past 30 minutes. If you're long and you're trading a timeframe less than the weeklys.......sorry and best of luck.

Xaron - you're certainly not an idiot...you've got a firmer grasp of fundies than most - and you're trading a much longer timeframe.

nAVIN2007 nothing ridiculus about this move. Once it broke the major tredline at mid 1.485 region this fall was expected. What is interesting is usualy at this time of the year dollar usually weakens but its not happening yet but I think it will happen tomorrow after FOMC meeting. I mentioned in my earlier posts that 1st two weeks we will see dollar strengthen a little and then weaken after that I will post that number in a second. But nothing ridiculus about this move. If we close out the week above 1.4626 then we are going mid 1.48 region in next coouple of weeks.

but not up to 1.51 i think

1.4480/1.45 coulb be the start for that small bull and i saw 1.4850 is the ultimate target where EU may start drop back to 1.4150....my long term target was 1.3050

So if not going to that 1.4480/45 yes agreed we may see reversal from current area to test back to atleast 1.4710-1.4830/50..

I'll wait for tomorrow FOMC, If no Dollar Sell off, then I'd close

Long and catch this PIG lower for the all time low ride.

I do not KNOW this, but it is my suspicion that a big part of this move is due to some book squaring and profit taking in front of the new year. There has been some news to justify a little dollar strength... but this is way out of proportion to any fundamental changes that have occured. Once books are closed on the year, I suspect we will resume a slow march north agian.... but know one knows if it will be from this level or somewhere lower.

No risk any more , just close the button at 1.4513 & one click close all shorts ( huge short collection over 20) from 1.4656 and below .will take next as per market do, just a conservative treatment .

Market has 'bipolar disorder'. It overreacts.

Dollar bears will be hoping once again market overreacts after FOMC annoucement.

I've locked in some profit too. Zero risk on all shorts, some from 5100 level. Let's see if we can get this thing below 4474. Interesting ride will likely commence afterward.

my friend im not taking about the fall when the trendline broke that was obvious, im taking about when it was at 1.50 area and went above..the very top was rediculious place to try and catch..i think it had some confluence with a fib but ..not really resistance as such..i planned to short it month in advance due to weekly engulf formations, which it broke technically those level show have held..

look at the monthly candle that closed..it was very bullish..

this move was impossible to catch without gambling on position..price was manipulated like crazy

Big boys counting money closing profit positions.

It's all other story after New Year, Dog will resume his hunt for all time low.

Breach of the 4H downward trendline around 4622 will be required to make it stick. Anything less than that is noise and retracement in what is currently a downtrend. And as I'm typing this...looks like we're going to see an assault on 4500.
