May be but I think everybody doing as per his strategy not merely follow the herd that is go with the seemingly trend in lower tf . Hope you are buying today & not a week late!!me too will take in time .

carry on if luck only the break 1.47 successfully , break & hold above , except not scalping , that is not up or down just opportunist without any direction.

4633 on st radar and further out 4551... system said 4554, chart says 51 st.. both from 5 m charts

Do you know that the 1 hour charts on down are essentially noise inside of the larger chart patterns? I look for patterns on the weekly and monthly charts, then enter my trades on the daily and 4 hour charts. You may be a scalper or day trader, and that is fine if you choose to do so. I am a swing and position trader, often leaving trades open for several weeks. I often close out high profit trades and re open them immediately as well. I am new to this forum but I am by no means a new or inexperienced trader. I would encourage you to look into the benefits of swing and position trading. Also, be careful when you take certain trading advice on forums such as this one. This site can be useful for many things, but a large majority of the posts reflect the noise of the scalper and day trading systems. Have you ever read The Candle Stick Course? It is an excellent book on candlesticks. Finally, remember to combine an adequate mixture of fundamental and technical analysis, or your trades may suffer.

Although I didn't have a bad week last week, I had a bad Friday, where I disregarded my rules and thought I knew better, and paid for it!
At the end of the day I entered a long position at 1.4623, which is doing well, I have just added in again at 1.4677.

Should anyone else be interested.

Comment: One of the biggest fortnightly pullbacks so far this year should send jitters down the spines of many.

We see this as a normal correction in thin year-end conditions and the Euro will try and stabilise against the lower edge of the Ichimoku and retracement support.

Strategy: Attempt small longs at 1.4665; stop below 1.4575. Short term target 1.4800, then 1.5000.

its for scalping.. scalpers have to get in and get out.. without holding a losser long. i have 82 as a high which is fine so far to me. since it was in the plan for that to happen. but id rather see 85/86 as a top.. it makes move more likely to be huge move. #171421 numbers are just that precise.

I've just added into a long at 1.4677 in this area and am keeping a close eye, just in case there is a rejection there.

Do not focus on making money; focus on protecting what you have.
