To be honest with you sebastion, I don't believe we will see a big retrace here, if any. I'm thinking this could happen again as it did last December...

i've been profitable trading price action, support/resistance and money management. the more i complicate things i start losing money. there's too much going on between 4750 and 4700 (psych levels, monthly weekly, daily pivot) there's higher probability bouncing to the upside. i've already banked buying from this indecision. left a few longs for the upside

Looking for a retracement move to 1.4950-1.4980 where a move C will be completed in the ABC pattern. BC can not be exceed AB.

A - 1.5140
B - 1.4670
C- 1.4950?

Lets see where market takes us.

i said the same thing about that place in our climate warming discusion. it already to late for islands near india. water levels up. salt water contaminated fresh water so the people are leaving.

were still in downtrend from 2008 highs....im looking for a double top to form like the 2008 highs only a bit larger.


right now im out of the market, im going to wait till some news from the dollar comes out this morning to give real direction....might be some consolidating and nasty whipsaws till then.

I am with you my trading plan is mostly for break out trading and this range trading just annoys me. When looking how much price we did (04/12/09 07/12/09 and 08/12/09) then time needs to catch up (09/12/09 ......), this is by Gann.
So I am expecting the same range as we had yesterday without any surprises. Friday could be the day where it is starting to move a little, but I think that this week nothing major will happen.

Maybe, but this time of the year pa doesn't obey technicals as usual. Now granted, this isn't an election year like last. Nor is it a year where bad economic news was popping out of every hole in the ground so volatility should be less. BUT it is still the last month of the year. Every serious trader in here knows how much stocks and futures projections can affect the currency markets. Not only is it end of 4th quarter but also end of year. Some things get shakened out of the books.

Not to mention that latest news/fundamentals lean more and more toward dollar strengthening. Just in time for not only new year, but new decade.

14730 was entry..was long last night from 14680
If it goes down there again during this London session
I dont think I'll buy again

Looks like its consolidating a few days for the next push down
