Could someone please confirm the low of the 18:00 GMT candle on the hourly.

For the fith time this month a limit order misses by the spread.

Just want to make sure my broker is wanking my chain.

In this particular case limt buy at 1.4673 placed at 16:00 GMT.

I've got a low of 1.4674
My broker wouldn't have filled at 73. Low was around 74,5.
But you shouldn't forget that your broker is actually interested in filling your orders. No orders = no money.

Actually if you have enough volume or enough money in your account they can put you on a 0.8 pip markup ... spreads are around 1.3 -1.5 on eur and jpy around 2 for cable and aussie. it's really good enough for scalping, but of course it can always be better.

But FXCM's spread on the audnzd is unbeatable. 4.4 pips during europe and NY
I took some of my longs off awhile ago (about half) and put new orders in at 1.4718... anyone thinking we may retrace to at least there before headed higher?

yes... FXCM is 2.6 pips @ the moment, i only use them for the charts, so couldn't comment on their execution, also use Oanda for the 0.9 spread, they printed 1.4674 @18:00 GMT yesterday (weds), found them pretty good overall, spreads can get crazy when its' busy - like 15 pips, but only twice have i argued with their numbers in the past year.
Looking some pips in pound ......
