Back to trading, lets see if the glue holding it to 4700 is letting go now and if the retrace continues to 4625

So far so good for retrace. 4680 touched almost to the pip and pulled.
Let's see if we'll see 4830 first before we catch the next ride to the lower levels.
Currently long from 4686 with hard stop placed 20 pips lower.

Yes it is, because it is a missed opportunity. There will be future opportunities, but that's no excuse not to take advantage of a current one. Forgetting/ignoring it doesn't make it any lesser of a missed opportunity. The issue isn't protection of capital.

Nice one on UCAD dude. I know u got in at low 1.05 nice one. That pair has been my meneses defintily need to figure that one out. hoping UJ would be the trade of the year for me. I am targetting mid 91 region but who knows Dec you cant really tell

Gator,

Since price retraced back to the 4709 area....do we need to use the other chart?

Are you looking at this area to hold or a retrace higher according to your charts?......

I am kicking myself for taking a SHORT at the 4682 area that was pierced......

Just typical round number pole dancing, it will need an impetus to move away from a round number and with the time of day, the close of NY may give it the impetus; I feel fairly confident it will test 4625 before heading back north.

because those numbers were posted in october. many were skeptical. but i often today see the same guys post those levels. they may add/subtract a pip, but its the same level. so i said i pulled numbers out my ass.. so now they are ass numbers. anyway all info contained in them come from october. excluding trendlines and candles.. some fib channels are older then 10 years..

just wait until support is broken and holds.. use mm and if support becomes resistance then place sl just above.. even if it breaks it and moves. it will probably come back... or close to it. with a small position on a big move you can always add... i dont know IF or when to use other chart you have to watch pa around the numbers. but they further the move the less smaller chart will work.. smaller ass chart goes to below 43xx. as with all predictive ass charts a strong s/r trump them. so im respecting this area. it may invalidate ass chart. as well as 4609

Yes it is....it most certainly is.

You and I miss opportunities all the time, simple because we cannot trade all the time....we have to eat and sleep etc etc etc.

The reason that it is an issue of protecting your capital is because when you have no position in the market, your capital is not at risk. If you see what you consider to be a 'sure thing' type trade, go for it!! When your wondering whether or not to trade a trade because of a possible retrace or continuance, you are either going to be right or wrong. A 50% risk.

I would rather sleep with no position open, that to have a 50/50 risk trade open. If I miss out on a trade, I don't care......I'll catch the next one.

It's simply not possible, practical or sensible to try and catch every possible trade, for fear of missing out!

However, you must trade the way you want, as must I.
