Nobody knows what lies below it.
Plus, EU seems to have had its share red and it's retracing.
US will continue the trend down or will offset the market with a tepid session, reboxing price within range.

Two-way flows emerge in [EUR/USD] with semi-official supply running into CB demand and the former wins for now. The headline has been underperforming today so far in Europe on the negative Dow Future (-81) and Dubai and European bank concerns and just now [GREECE] gets a downgrade to BBB+ and outlook negative from Fitch. Positive Eur/Gbp flows, however, have been a prop of sorts. On balance, we are looking lower here near-term, with those stops beneath the 1.4750 DNT still a target and we see prop offers in place ahead of the pivotal 1.4900/10 region.


As the Greek tragedy continues to unfold with another ratings downgrade (from Fitch), the [FLIGHT-TO-QUALITY] in asset markets continues and gathers pace, even though the action was probably expected, if not inevitable. Core EMU bonds benefiting from more switching out of the peripherals and Dec Bunds up to a new 123.72 intraday peak (+76 ticks on the day), while the main EU bourses have plunged even deeper into negative territory with the Dax down to a 5659 low, -125 pts and the FTSE also flagging at 5220, -90 pts (UK and Greek banks under more pressure). Note, aside from all this, G20 advisor Vadera has also issued call to all EU banks to be transparent on the extent of losses and bad debts, while back to Greece Fitch has kept the country on negative ratings watch and warned that another downgrade is possible. Now hearing talk that the Greek Fin min and or CB could make an official statement shortly.
