Nice to be back. Hope everyone is making some great trades before the Christmas!
My trading plan for today, if 1.4765 holds, I will go long with a small size position and will look for the first profit target around 1.4880.
Break of 1.4765 level will probably take us to 1.4700 first and then we will see
Anyways, just my thoughts.

Russian accounts have been [CABLE] sellers in early Europe. The headline has already lost well over half a cent to a new day's low of 1.6338 and unsurprisingly Dubai concerns are being cited for current underperformance. Eur/Gbp is higher too as the UK is perceived as having the greatest exposure to the Emirate, which is being viewed as struggling to restructure its debt. Short-term stops through 1.6330 and then in bigger size beneath 1.6300/20 bid zone.

Interbank traders tout stops below 1.4770 in [EUR/USD] and US sellers reported, as prop desks continue to bail out of longs. However, no sooner said than done, and an ACB buyer emerges and trade tops 1.4800 once again. Clearly day traders are more comfortable selling Eur/Usd, but also lack the will to take on ACB's which look set to make something of a stand ahead of 1.4750. A gradual racheting decline looks likely.


[EUR/USD] coming under increasing pressure now as the FX market factors a more risk averse bias that encompasses both the situation in Dubai, and Moody's warnings over the precarious fiscal situations in UK and US. Today's sellers largely Japanese, hitting Eur/Yen first, then Eur/Usd. The moves led by the sharp sell offs in Cable, and day traders all now expecting a 1.4750 test on the back of this news. Quite a bit of disappointment about too, in that the Usd was unable to resume its downwards track post Bernanke. Asian buyers and mulled option led bids tipped into 1.4750. For now specs play up the size of stops below.
