EJ: Not looking for much here, just a quick trade in the Asian session, because the gap-down pullback looks like a re-entry opportunity, and because it is likely the gap will be closed.

I have to agree with you, ddaytrader. Positive is always better than negative. In that vein, I submit that "release" might be considered....referring to when the big boys release the price to run.

I cannot see H4/D1 timeframes for Support and Resistance,
therefore I doubt that anybody could answer if this setup is valid or not.

EJ: Trade count/volume has been fairly consistent, both when price was at highs, during the whip down, and while it has been down. To me, it looks like the traders are trying to strike an average price around the whole number. To do this, they had to torpedo the price and have their chance at trading below the whole number. It started with a gap down below the whole number, but trading drove it above. So the torpedo has the price below again.....averaging their position at a price near the whole number in advance of a run higher....just my opinion.

Edit: Added chart 2 with revised Ep and Tps bases upon changing WAVE and changing FEs.

EJ: Once again the price was whipped down below the whole number. Chart shows revisions to Ep and Tps should the breakout be up. The breakout could be down. We just don't know until it happens. "Trade what you see."

Edit: The gap-down, trade up, whip down, trade up, whip down, trade......all this is consolidation. It is a continuation of how the Friday session ended; with consolidation after a strongly traded run up. I still feel this consolidation is in preparation for another leg up.

EU: After the nice run down, this exhibits upwards WAVES. It could result in an upside breakout that, in turn, results in at least a 50% pullback (up) on that run down.....

Tks TAH. I'm looking at the same thing as well. A good chance of a 50% retrace.

My AU trade this mrng.

Edit: Stopped out at -20pips when London came in and resumed selling.

EUR/JPY. Taking H4 into the account: price went into the previous
consolidation area, which could be hold as resistance.
Price can reject that zone, or stay and consolidate.

No bias yet, will wait for the London to open and see where
the price wants to go.

GU - I took a short at the little double top we have at 1.650x, and I will add with a SonicR EP at 1.6468. Targets are 1.6377 and 1.6367 & 1.6312. SL is 1.6509.

This might be setting up another big move down, so I will take profits at 1.6377 on 1/2 and trail the second half.

EJ: Still looking like a long trade may be coming. Chart 1 has new Tps based on changing WAVE. Chart 2 shows price bouncing up off of DPV and 89 ema on a trade count spike.

EJ Just made 5 consecutive lower highs & 1 major lower low.
It looks like it just bounced off the DP but is once again looking like it will test the 61.8 fibo and the DP.

How come you are looking at this as a possible Long?
