I went long at 1.4830

We've bounced there 3 or 4 times since the beginning of November.
I'm thinking we may just rally into the end of the year.

ERm....
First of all, what a nice drop shot after NFP...
and im sure many people here had gained much for the last movement...

By the way, in my daily chart, for me its still not broke the DTL yet....
Still have some gap.....
So, maybe we might see again 1.5XXX level.....
but if next week or so that gap is filled and broke the DTL,then market shift to downtrend....IF this case happen, shorting is the way i will choose and at first my target is 1.4630......

Below is my chart...please advice me if im wrong because im also new in this "world" ....

doing. I don't know if anyone here cares. But, the very fabric of our freedom to act and trade as individuals is being threatened. There may be a short window of great opportunity for some, but if the Copenhagen Treaty is accepted, then our freedom is finished.

The BBC for example, refuses to publish any information reguarding the conspiracy described by the leaked emails of 'Climate Gate'.

It is being implied that through policy that supports the elimination of 'global warming', your freedoms are being taken away. Now I can see how one may fear this if policies were too restrictive on free enterprise, but I think it's an exaggeration to say that we would lose all our freedoms as regular citizens or even be regarded as communist. Just because laws are passed that penalize a company for making products that contaminate the environment, doesn't mean that human rights are being attacked. If they suceed in convincing the voters into believing this, then they win control of the oval office and congress by having republican officials elected. Then they will pay lower taxes, not have to spend/invest in newer & greener technologies, and not worry about fines for violating emission laws.

In conclussion, it is in the best interest of big business ($$$) to kill/ignore environmental contamination and global climate issues and policies that help preserve them.

Infact, it is quite the opposite. Large corporations will be the only entities which have enough clout and manpower to navigate or circumvent the regulations. And they are the only ones who will profit from it. Do you know anyone who can manufacture bio diesel, or build solar panels, or trade carbon cedits with Ethiopia??

The big threat here is that this treaty abrogates all guarantees of personal freedoms, no matter what country you live in. As on Animal Farm, and pre 1990's Russia, we will all be equal, but some will be much more equal than others.

Good eye, fontu. E/U-Gold correlation has been pretty tight. Watching E/U for cues to XAU trades has served me well in latter days.

Was just trying to read up on this Copenhagen Climate Treaty and some articles state it's dead? Is this true? If so, nothing to worry about then, right?

If the wheels stay on the market's cart, that would be the classic pattern.
Followed eventually, by a rebound upwards through our recent top towards it's present fair value which I calculate to be about $5500. The latest top should actually have been about $1300 in a classic assending wedge formation, but something seems to have killed it or spooked the market??
