You are very right..there is a correlation but that does not mean trading has become simple..You would have won many pips on your long have DAX been in positive.
The correlation holds very well when dow opens..this time eur/usd moves with dow.
May i know from where you look at DAX charts? is it real time quote? I am not able to get real time DAX quotes..everywhere it is 15 M delay.
I see your and mine trading method are quite similar..i also use SMA to take and exit entries but i use it on 1 H chart...I use 1 M chart to wait for retracement...
All that is left in FF is just plain garbage. "Cloggie"
here is some technical analysis ,despite of the people sayin "it will go there" without any prove , or posted analysis ... What i see today is really big resistance to the bull which in short term consolidate the trend ... A very big resistance to the bull is 5095 which was i think was fake broken. Today i am more thinking aboutu crossing 5055 and reaching first pivot level of 5025. PA allready touched 5095 3-4 times and bounced off that level... its all about comming news releases and opens. Hope i was usefull

I get my Charts life from my broker/bank (Saxobank) I have the DAX cfd as a chart and the DAX futures also have to pay exchange fees cos of that
. I do use 1hr and 24sma (fast)72 sam (slow) and yes entries on the 1hr are normaly safer but not as common as they are on the 15min. I usually take the 15min as my entry and 1hr for confirmation.
Back to the DAX chart you would normaly find DAX charts with any online broker for free based on cfds. Sooner or later I will have to subscribe to eSignla and get DAX (cash) charts as well since the cfds are a mix of cash and future.
