move SL to BE @ 25
use 85 ema on close for direction, so if above box go short, if below box go long, if it is in box at any time then no trade.

DislikedHi Kiwi,
Yep, if you set MA to false, the EA will not take into account any MA. There is an option to allow for spread on entries and exits, I believe.Ignored

DislikedThanks, Grant!
When I look at the most recent trade time (10:00PM - Midnight CST), the 85 EMA was close to or just barely knicked the bottom of the box on my FXDD chart. Since price was above the 85 EMA, I am assuming a short trade was valid. Problem is, once the buffer was broken short, price retraced 43 pips for a losing trade. Are my assumptions correct, or am I not as smart as a 5th grader?
Thanks for your help.

DislikedHi BC,
Sorry but you're not smarter than a 5th grader!!! lol
IF 85 EMA is below the price, that means long. Above price means short.Ignored
DislikedThanks for the confidence-builder, Dubai!
I may not be smarter than a 5th grader, but you're not smarter than a 5th grader, either! The example I gave is exactlly what you confirmed! lol
BTW, do I at least have the correct time for the box?
Dubai, please keep up the great posts or I will have to enlist Yen and Shiva to take over this thread!
Your friend,
BCIgnored
DislikedAh!!! lol.
You said the 85 EMA was knicking the bottom of the box so price was above the EMA. If this is true, longs are only valid. Shorts are invalid.
Is CST behind EST by 1hr? EST would be 2300-0100 EST. So I think CST is 1 hr behind EST so your box timings are correct!
I'll have a look at my FXDD chart and put on an 85 EMA and see for myself to save any more confusion!
Price above EMA= go long. Price below EMA= go short.Ignored
