I used to trade futures. But now only forex with Gomarkets, all I see is their volume, a change from less than 90 to over 200 tells me something is happening.

Don't know whether opening gap is a feed issue or not but I can see it on charts from 4hr down.

No gap in Oanda(and that is excluding weekend data) ,

Shodd, you got a gap?

If you want to trade with volume then trade currency futures. Otherwise its just guessing, really. Volume in OTC FX is tick based, but I am sure you know that
and what indication is go markets? Are they primarily retail brokers or do they actually deal with the big instituional traders? Even if it was pure volume unless they deal with the people who move the market then I would judge what the "volume" in spot FX has to say.

Have you tried an ECN broker? You can view the ladder on their or try Shodd's method (PM him and maybe he can help you if he wants to) but honestly, do you really need to?


Closed my long for -1, will look for another trade in TKY lunch finish.

Out for -8, failed to break the HH (probably should of waited for the candle to close, pre-emptive close)

1 quick thing to add this, I dont do it because FX achillies knows what he is doing and makes enough dough to make most people look stupid and he doesnt use it. I want to be where FX is , not where the rest of the people that DO use things like "volume" in OTC providers and other indicators.

That is not a dig, that is just my personal view.

HAHAHA< I was just about to applaud you for holding onto it , still testing there HH there. I bailed to early, at worst we should have bailed at BE or a little profit.

Hey people. Been a busy day today and haven't had as much time to focus in on the AUD.

Someone was talking earlier about volume - in spot I wouldn't bother with it.

The longs above 74-75 are looking OK now.
