slight reversal....just a ding in the retrace....tons of news......only thing I know of that will be positive are home sales...other than that, dunno what the other reports will say..

1.5060 is a weekly resistance. I do not think that today it goes up from this level. It will come again to 1.4980.

There is a contradiction as i think..Dollar is losing power by news, getting powerful by technical analysis. As you see we head up weekly resistance...What do you think?

Thanks for useful information. Once i understood booking profits concept, it has improved my trading since after every fall/rise, there is an opposite movement.

Apart from commerical currency transaction between banks, I thought Traders at hedge funds, investment banks, commerical banks are speculating in currency markets as evidenced by their treasury income...isnt?

price will probably hit 5040 again within next 25 minutes then fall to 4950 by Tokyo.

Whaddya mean when you say massive profit booking?

My theory is traders who have built long positions will book profits at these levels. This theory is consistent in all financial instruments- at higher levels, booking profits sets in.

Lets see when and by how much it falls.

EUR/USD has extended its rally as far as 1.5027, presently at 1.5020. Sources note decent ACB selling, but so far it’s done little to arrest the advance.
