Think I had the lucky finger that time.
Short from yesterday in the evening: 133.47 to TP of 132.10
I will stay out for now till it looks more clear what the direction is.
My bias would be more doooown.

Hey there folks,

I too think highly of the EUR/JPY pair. I like to use a method I learned last year (called the 4 sisters but I use only three - 100, 200 & 300 EMA). It typically uses 4 moving averages on the 3-minute chart to find direction and an oscillator for entry. I use the CCI because that is my preference.

Also, I tend to place reference lines at the 00 33 66 levels because this pair seems to like turning on them quite a bit. It works on other timeframes but it obviously takes longer to set up and also the stoploss levels must be farther away from entry.

Haha lol

Yea but i dont trade during the news i have in pocket 250 pips for 2 days on live acc and that is enough to me

Look like maybe can go down more but i see big news in next few hours but this is Forex...

me only 2 months in real account now. Before that some "playing" on demo.
Only started with a real small deposit and still only trading small lots.
Been a hard journey:
- first 2 weeks up 50%.
- then some biggg losses
- Overthinking of strategy and money-/risk-management
- starting the rally again

If you take the thing serious, you really have to spend some time with it.

EUR/JPY is a pretty interesting pair to me. I always try to combine or compare my own analysis with news (fundamentals) or other technical analysis. Sometimes it doesn't make sense.... but sometimes it works..

I trade with all pairs those having below 5 pips spread.
Dont have a favorite pair, but I will avoid trading Eur/Chf...
Very slow pair and not have much movement...

I am 1 year old trader, not much, have some good losses also...
Still recovering...

Still trying to live with forex...

oh... I do not much look into fundamentals.. Just looks into the timings of news events here in main page..

also trading some other pairs. AUD and CAD was a nice trend for some weeks. I liked that.
At some point I tried out Futures as well , DecemberDAX and Oils.
That made my losses. (limited trading hours and gaps almost every day = nothing for me
so with Forex itself I didn't loose anything either. let's see how it will go on

Back to the EUR/JPY:
Still thinking we will seesome more down again soon. maybe a lil more up first. but then down again. (132.10 again or maybe lower...)
just lookin the naked 4-hour-chart.

I think it need to go 131.00 area...

I have pending shorts on all way down for each 20 pips, aiming a total of 1400 pips..
14 trades total, 7 open already...

lol, its not real, on demo account...

btw, usdjpy my guss is 85.00 area...

Anyone else getting highly frustrated with EURJPY resisting to go above 132.50 area? I have a couple of pending trades above it and it's like watching cat and mouse do a dance. As soon as it nears 132.50, whoosh off it goes again.
