I am having a serious think about clearing out any none standard mt4 indi's. With the advent of mt5 (who knows how long it will take to come in though) and the fact that anything you have none standard will have to be re-written for mt5. I'll miss those scalper signals.

The MT4 platform will be soon superceded by MT5, which we're assuming will come with the full set of indicators that MT4 came with. The problem is that the customised indicators that some traders code up and post for us on the different threads won't be compatible with MT5.

So, as far as the customised indicators are concerned when MT5 hits the streets, forget them 'cos they won't work. As a result, an awful lot of coding experts out there are going to be VERY busy trying to replace the ones that have become redundant!

Ohhh.........Still can't we jsut keep using MT4 except there just won't be any support for it..?

There will no doubt be some cross over time where brokers offer both systems. Theres just so much reliance on mt4 to cut it off cold.

Hammer on daily at bottom TL suggests lots of room to move up. 4hr TL broken also suggests move up.

If you are not in already there may be a pull back from 6650 ish see 1 hr below and chance to buy (the top from 2 days ago).

GM all - I was up well before sparrows fart taking no 2 daughter - she's a super-yacht chef - to the airport - she's joining a 165 foot Perini Navi in Viareggio and next week they head for the Caribbean......there are some green faces in the Islander house this morning!

So I was able to get in an early long off the 6600 level, exiting at the R1 level and now I've got a small short - mainly 'cause €s turned south off its 5000 level - I think for the 7th time...here I'm looking for yesterdays high as resistance turned into support.....

Great trading Islander, we were not quick enough on that R1 move. Very impressed!!

This 4 hr chart shows lots of reasons for a stall here, if it carries on up there is a W pivot M3 at 6689.

Thanks, I missed that one, although I do have 665 as the 50% retrace of the drop over last week off my hourly chart....

According to news ........Leaked figures from UK national stats say UK is now out of recession and analyists believe that the true figures are better than those actually reported. The last time those figures were presented ( negative) a huge downward spike was presented to the market.
