I swapped from MBtrading 3 weeks ago and I have to say I am surprised how good a non ECN trader is... Most of the times I get a better price than in my MT4 (MBtrading) feeder...

You can close/open positions during the week-end (10 pip spread).

The platform is crap but I am just using it to Execute anyways...

The platform calculates everything in dollar for you which makes it easier to risk a certain per cent age also..

Check out the demo... takes 3 minutes to be online...

It's also Java so if you are in a place which blocks direct connect it goes automatically to proxy...

No maintenance time!!

in normal scalping i go about 0.2%/pip - i am backed off that a bit today.

I have been using MB Trading for 2 years now, I use the Navigator to execute my orders, and use FXDD for my charting. It takes a little time to learn the navigator, but really from my experience it is one of the best when it comes to execution of orders. Fast and never a slip, but for the MT4 on MB Trading I would have to say is crap, and that is why I use the MT4 from FXDD to make my graphs and charts, but I do trade live with MB Trading just on the Navigator. Not to endorse MB Trading, but to concur their MT4 is not up to par to other brokers.

i'd say yes, spread can get crazy when it's busy (10+ pips), but instant execution... no 're-quotes', no down-time, open at the w/e, simple to use. in 9 months i only had one quibble & that was about the speed of funds transfer from the UK, you'll need another platform for charts tho'.

Dear All, for the prosperity of your trades, please keep into consideration that the Gold chart opened today with a Gap which is currently trying to close.
I am not sure whether the trend will then continue in this direction, but just be aware!

I know how to use MBT's navigator, thats the one I started with when I started in 2008...

But have you tryed Oanda? It's like black and white... Atleast for my way of trading...

I have Oanda and no complaints. Great for the scalper, instant execution, little slippage.

They do complicate newstrade by bracketing the announcements about 2+ minutes either side & widening the spreads, but on major pairs thats not a huge problem

charting is limited but that doesn't hurt me

Just remember, the news can be a double edge sword.....hang on to the positions if you can......I think EURO's still in for a beating...
