Good eye. About a 800-pip drop there in the last 1-1/2 hrs....

On the 5min chart we're in a downtrend... technically i wouldn't exit the short unless the price goes above 1.49700...

EU 4hr...couldnt close a bar outside the DTL....hmm. Holding average short from 1.4950. Lets see if that weekly chart gonna hold us down.

I am avg short @ 1.4946, holding since yesterday...
will we see 1.4850 soon if 1.4930 breaks...? any idea guys?

Nah, I'm not feeling the Euro love at the moment. I'm putting my trust in the weekly bullish engulfing candle on USDX to give the US$ a break for a few weeks. Shorted CHF but have put stops at b/e.

I don't think Toshi has been blocked but I do understand why Jade pulled him on his comment about Kathy Lien.

Sure .. currently playing EURUSD, USDCHF and Gold .. am looking for gold to hit 1186 R .. yesterday gold was fun but I missed the better part - closed way too early ..

I posted the hyperbolic rise in gold to be similar to 1979 move .. Now we are 30 years later .. this is a classic Gann Cycle and I think smart money and wall street are playing the cyclic euphoria .. 2009 should start another phenomenal rise in gold ... Math says $2500 but I'll be watching $1900 per ounce through the next couple of months ..

Yes, gold is heart attack stuff Been dabbling here and there with longs only. Can't face shorting it. I don't need a headache.

I remember some analyst a few weeks back saying that gold was going to go down. His reasoning was because Harrods in London had opened a gold counter and he thought that it had become "too mainstream". Gold never looked back.

i hope we see 1.4900 soon now...though all except H4 shows bullish EU ahead...H4 says bears are going to wake up now...

i shorted gold yesterday ... and i had to take sleeping pill to go sleep ... it was the most stressful day in the Q4 ... today is lot better ... closed some short positions with profit ... at one point i had 22 lots ... i think yesterdays initial movement was mostly due to EURO not other way around ... i am still short ...
