On euro/usd, H1 chart are looking good for a buy if the price break 1.4910? all the way to the 1.5200? just asking ....if i am wrong don/t blame me....I AM TRYING TO LEARN

What do we do in the case where there are is a large area between Friday's High & Low with no previous intermediate high or lows? Just go back till we find them?

Rastaman ,

First shrink the screen and put in the period separators line and then if you have to scroll back to find the high or lows.

Yes, I did that, most pairs look ok and it is indeed a good way to get an S&R framework.

It was just some pairs that had been trading high for a few days, so there was a large gap in some areas between the High-Low of Friday.

Got it sorted out, thanks again.

Hello sonikers,

Just a few check list questions..
I am done with my readings for the system and paper trading and
I will now trade with demo
Just want to know if i got it right..

1. sonic system is about H HL HH for long; L LH LL for short..
2. we only trade the london and new york sessions...
3. we trade of the 15min chart..
4. the preferd pairs are EJ and GU.. these are the most effective pairs..
5. the sonic dragon is the most important indi.. the rest are just garnish..
6. it is advisable to open 2 positions with two different take profits? but same SL?

The ones below are purely questions..
1. what value should I put as a trailing stop?
2. average pips we get on average a month?
3. average draw down per month?
(hope you guys share a ballpark figure.. answer only if you are comfortable with the question number 2 and 3 if not its ok.. )

just a brief about me..
I am from the philippines and I can live of 200USD a month..
due to high exchange rate with USD and relatively cheap simple living here..

Just lost my job and i decided to at least try trading for the meantime if i can make it work and try a living out of it..

Phew that was tight, came within 1 pip of BE SL.

Should be ok now.

EDIT: SL in threat again 5 mins till news is out.
Maybe it will hold till news is out in 2 mins.


Stopped out. Ahhh Well I took a few pips profit from it anyway.

but wasnt profitable 3 blown accounts...
but just today... i doubled my money...hehehe my 1.25 is now 2.50...
4 profitable trades so far...no losses..if i can make it 10 by the end of the month, would then start with a standard account...

and btw i demo traded this and paper traded... really great results...

GU, I am out with almost 80 pips, no point being greedy now is there.

I must say, it is a lot easier to see what is going on with all the trimmings taken off.
