Yeah, I hope we can find some consensus about what a pip is. Then we can move on to more advanced topics, like the difference between long and short (so confusing!), and perpetual questions like, "What time does the market open?"

I know there is nothing to show to this tread, the traders here now betther than that a friend of mine have told me stay away from this tread and I don't know why they sai that i mean is a good tread, I'm just here to invite you to the grand reopend of the pivots and trends tread if you want to learn something, but please just have a shair and sit down and learn don't teach an old dog tricks, please , thanks in advance

here is my weekly views for eurusd:
I think there will be serious attempt to resume bull but likely to fail & fall below the strong support /area of maximum accumulation 1.48 to 1.4757/1.47.

price to test break fisrt1.4910 utl & if successfull should go to the near top, 1.4962/1.5010 or up & if not should retest 1.4842/00 again to either bounce back to those top areas or break below sr 1.4757/00 for next bull.There is also good probability as weekly /daily candles are red & may daily come red as cosecutive 3rd & MK,s theory ( previously seen in this thread ) that if the wick touch the sr bigger than previous candle's wick then max. chances of a bounce & if not continue . here as in daily should continue down.

Anyway if come back to the top areas there should be another chance it may slip deeply to even 1.46/1.4444/1.4337 ( extremes may not but 1.46 seems optimum ) as there already double top in the daily and also I see d top in s&p500 too and at the same time may not resume Uptrend so early before the year end . And considering great congestion zone dates back 2007.

Anything can happen ,just preparing for the weekly trades.

Everything depends on the Dow, if the Dow goes up the Euro will go up. And note that pivot point analysis, Elliot waves don't work.

I've bounced this idea around before and to date I'm still leaning toward a straight count - per pair that is.

If all things are consistent and all things are equal in terms of position size
and said trader can still claim 1000 pips of profit in a week or something -
then that trader is the mutherfuck of the forex market and he should be feared.

Else, in an effort to truly represent pip tallys that doesn't skew results, I'm still going to opt for a straight count.
So a one lot trader that traded one lot and made 100 pips, who then turned around and traded 2 lots
and knowing his typical trade size is one lot and effectively has 2 identical positions,
makes another 100 pips on 2 lots, he could consider reporting 100 on the 1st and 100 on the 2nd as acceptable.
This is only because his TYPICAL trade size is one lot, as he is a one lot trader.

Conversely, if he was a typical 5 lot trader, then he made nowhere near relative to 100 pips,
being that the position size was reduced substantially. So atleast some adjustment for this
should be factored so that when pips are counted in total there is a consistent value
to each of the pips gained or lost. The method of adjustment needs to be consistent too,
else that paints an inaccurate picture of performance.

In any event, at the end of the month, green pips are better than losing money.
That is true no matter how you count them, unless one uses some retarded method
to show they made money when they actually lost money, then there is no help for these types.

Guess we could pull up lines to suggest the complete opposite, as well.

How's about a Euro at 140 ? How 'bout 130 ?

Flip 'em around a bit and some see 160. Some see 120.

I think anything's possible from here.

If the 3 waves up from 123xx to 150xx turns out to be corrective,
then 120 is not even safe ground at some future point.

Else, if that WAS the correction, then 150 could seem cheap next year.

No doubt, when the crying's over, we'll be atleast TEN or FIFTEEN handles
away from here (150~), either way.

If there was no choice but to enter a trade, I could see selling this.....

Last significant high was 200 points above here, and that would be a
helluva place to have to put a stop, but with a break of 146xx it would be
too late to stop the ball from rolling by then...

Now, don't go out and get all short and stuff, since there's evidence to support
the uptrend still in place and has yet to invalidate the recent upmove, but
it's still testing the boundaries and a couple of days with heavy volume could change everything.

...and that goes both ways at the moment......

I feel 75 is a good resistance...

Assuming professionals are selling on this pullback...

But OPEC wants a price between 60-80...

I would suggest visit OPEC home page.... but remember oil is a small market... 1/5 volume of the gold...

Good weekly view, I have almost precisely the same outlook for the upcoming week. Nice bear week, get short from mid 4900's.
