WOW im glad i started trading, this all sounds very exciting, i just wish i knew what everyone is talking about.

i dont understand what is DNT and its purpose

Basically someone has bet that the price would stay between a certain range. In this case an Asian Central Bank and the range is 1.4800-1.5100. It is does then they make money. If it doesn't then they lose. Just google double no touch option.

You belive that the price of the underlying asset will remain range bound for a certain period of time (in example 1.3000 - 1.4000). Then You use DNT option to make profit if the price doesn't break the range in that time period.

It is an exotic options called double no touch where te ACB took out an option based on a time and a range, in this case 48-51. The bank puts in only the margin or haircut unless he takes out a arbitrage against for example T-bill with a certain spread to hedge his range and if the the spread narrows he stands to make a profit on his hedge also, the profit there may pay for keeping the EU in range for his expiry.

DNT's are becoming more popular in forex

I continue to here MSM and every talking head say we are now in a recovery.. Hmmm... I find this article to be somewhat in contrast of that consensus..

I don't know what that means to Fiat Currencies and their relation to one another but I will say with almost certainty that Housing prices could fall another 30%.. IMHO Once in a while you get some truth.. When you do, use it !

now the PA gets interesting. Nice sell off today. If the market loses any more ground today the new trend is set. If you've made good money today best not to get greedy as the market is not kind on fridays

I am still on the side line, TL on M15 is only just broken, however 4860 is still there as resistance, she can either follow the TL down or break the Resistance. I am waiting either result, I do feel there is more room to move down first.

price seems to have stalled a bit after those DNT's expired, there was a small push down but the price rebounded very quickly... i think its going to take a fair bit of momentum to push further down... unless something drastic happens i'm inclined to stick with longs for a bit longer...
