I am in firm agreement with both of those numbers. 5160 is a new swing high, and a big fib level. There will be a lot of action near that number. I am a little skiddish about SNB-- last time they stepped in the ride did not stop until 4625. I have had my behind burned in years past swimming in Central Bank infested waters, so maybe I am being a little to cautious.

3. SL @ 14940 for a total of +155 pips.
4. Long 1 @ 14949 currently up 50+ pips with a 35 TS @ 14973.

Looking for another entry point to add to my long position.

bottom has fallen out of the dollar. Just when everyone sees it we should see the market play its usual trick and reverse. All talk an no action is fuelling the dollar sale. 1.5040 ish is the top of the market for me, I am counting on it not exceeding that point for days at least.

Based on my wave count we went through some sort of a flat correction on the daily scale, with 3 impulse waves. I guess the uptrend will continue next.

It would be nice if it approached that point though so I can get an entry, set and forget mode. earlier set and forget trade ended in a loss though.

P.S. Already in short GU, as that pair would probably lead. Don't see that getting past the high today by much.

oh yes, hate when I get in too early. greed does get the better of me sometimes. still that's the edge the market has over us, and always will.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Just going to check my longer term charts. I only posted that chart to wind up the gap non-believers

Retail sentiment is still pointing to US$ losses though. There's nothing stopping that gold bull train is there. Silver broken out. Somebody's holding a $hit load of gold/silver short positions apparently. Writer of article seemed to think it was JP Morgan. He's been warning of this break for weeks now and doubted they would be able to engineer a downfall. There's a few people sweating somewhere that's for sure.
Nothing worth having is easy.

That's interesting. There's always some big commercial that is gong to be positioned on the wrong side, and I'm guessing that just as Barrick has clsed their hedge books, another is opening their's. Probably the safest investment long term is gold, silver, if you're willing to withstand the pullback when it comes. Now would be a good time.
