9times out of 10 Patterns on 5min charts dont work out. Well not for me anyways. LOL..

I use 4hrs for patterns.

yep... you got that big old W thingy there also..and a double bottom on usx ... but i would move sl to be.. the usx also did break a trendline last week.. but it has not turned up.. au also is tapping on a new high.. and gu was just rejected near one.. uj just above tech level as well.. so it may go up.

agree and thats why i dont feel like short it long term yet ( actualy i just went short on m15 and will close it whitin 3 hours if everything goes fine ). tomorrow is an important day imho

now we buy 1.4970.
it is the last OHLC-Close.
it is near daily pivot.
it is weekly R1.

I've noticed there were several hiccups in recent days during those times (also called stop-hunting). Just saw one a few minutes ago on EUR/USD.

So beware!

I think its happen because london closed and usa on holiday.we still go long atleast to 4993

exacly, for me i dont usualy trade short term after 9 pm, ( here in Tahran) which we r in, beacuse of lack of volitarity,today i did ,thats why im -10 pips now for tday, but thats alright have already twised my account since the begining of the mounth, every body s happy

Do you think that the uptrend could resume in such low volatility? Or do you mean after the Japanese session starts in about 5.30 hours?

Hard to say but technical its show uptrend at this moment but on reality you see different,but i will stay with my plan. i have positions both ways the ones for short with bigger tp the one for long with small tp,but again im new and its just my opinion.

Bear can resume price break below 1.4956.stoches already down & qqe in H1 now crossed 50.just waiting for it if happen now .

Now that London has gone home, I think the only thing that could stop it is the bottom of your screen.

We're seeing RARE US Dollar firmness (can't call it strength at this point) on a US Bank Holiday.

The USD is usually well offered when the Fed is out of the market. Today it's catching a slight bid.

Often times, the market exhibits a directional push upon return from a holiday close.
I wonder if we'll get that as well when we begin to tick into the weekend ?

One would surmise that Gold and Oil will make or break that senario...l

Well i brought long at 49659..it looks a mistake to me.

The 15 M chart is trapped in a bearish zone.
