Going through economic data points, the calendar for Tuesday and Wednesday data coming out of the US is light, but Thursday should be a busy day after New Zealand and Australia report retail sales and unemployment numbers late Wednesday.

Oh I don't know, the last two H1's were higher highs and higher lows; and this one looks like it will be too...

After 15 M and 30 M, The 1 H has just started rising slightly.

The eur/usd train is going to the next station .ie 1.50300..it will take time but it will reach there.

Or perfect opportunity to take out stops on the top side and go to 1.52. All sorts of emotions going thru a traders mind and thats what the big traders are looking for. Emotional traders who take profit too early or don't use stops and get trapped.

He's a European goalkeeper, so he's probably been caught off his line...

You place a buy stop or sell stop moments before news, A lot of them would refuse to take you in at your ask or bid price. They then take you in at the point when market starts reversing against you. There by using your money to cover whatever loss they might have incurred on micro accounts. In have been trading forex for sometime now. But the level of desperation displayed by the brokers is getting out of hand. Please people beware. I will name one of them at your quest. Or peoples Are all of them like that ???????????

there s a trendline and a channel starting from way back in march... we shouldnt be talking about shorts untill that trendline is broken.
Numerous times by now it tried. It failed every time. so as far as i m concerned we re still long. And i will be for as long as i have to. Remember. we can only folow the trend. never predict it

Why would you trade news?



Say there's "good news" in US employment - moments after the good news is announced, there are tons of people taking long positions on EURUSD, which pushes price action down before it goes up based on the news.

A certain percentage of contrarian scalpers take short positions on good news to take advantage of this. Maybe a lot taking small shorts, or a few taking large plunges. There's no way to tell.

Brokers are not doing anything. It's how market behaves during the news. I can tell you - I have ECN broker. I was puzzled at first but then it all got explain. The problem (again) is that your charts show you ask/bid and not the price that the last transaction took place + bid/ask. And so what seems to you as market moving during the news is in fact ask/bid moving without any real transaction actually. I had a stop order executed 10 pips away during news just because stop orders are market orders and if you want to buy for example you buy out of ask. But if ask jumps all of a sudden 10 pips up, there you have it, nobody would sell you at the price you requested.

Because this is just the way it is and always will be. You will get hurt if you believe differently.
