Normally I would not make this remark, but things are slow and I just can not help myself.

First off, any short positions are "scalps".
Second, why on earth would you be holding longs hesitantly? The market just gave traders an opportunity to buy on a dip. I mean not even 1.4920 was broken. There is no momentum to this bear move.

Think this will head south if there is a bounce off the 50 Fib line at 9712 on the M5.... it already bounced off the 38.2 line (9631) so may be a good time to short... ?

Just my 2 cents... for scalping purposes mainly (well a good 20 pips at least )

Totally agree, great opportunity to add to longs, there is only one way here and that is up, as it has been since April.

By all means scalp the retraces but the trend is still up. 4950 holding strong

As long as 1.506 is not broken on a weekley chart basis we are setting up for a major pull back. Just waiting for the monthly to turn things around. However with light volume in the next couple of days could be tricky at times. Good scalping opportunities but I stay away from them.

The reason I'm holding them hesitantly is because in my analysis I see the potential for further dipping. If you had read my earlier post today I explained my reasons for seeing this. I see potential targets up to 2 pennies lower on any further drop. There will be more opportunity to long there for better positioning for me. I don't claim to know for sure where the market will go, just use good MM for my strategy.

My hesitation was also because I wasn't in complete profit, to me anything under 10 pips is cause for a wary eye. After I locked in 20 pips on the scalp for half of the position and the rest is SL at +5 my mind is at ease and will gladly sit on it till it runs to the top of the range or hits my SL as I'm locked in for 25pips.

If it comes down to hit my SL, which sits at 1.4945, I'll re-evaluate my entry at that point. Whether it be wait out a further dip to enter long then or re-up right away if it doesn't look like it has any steam left in the drop.

You may have multiple longs stretching down for pennies and can absorb a major draw down with no ill effect to your margin but not everyone has built up such positions. Please consider all trading styles and margin abilities when questioning someone's reasoning, thanks.

My SL was just missed by .3 of a pip.....lol. Looks like my reasoning was correct for my position...hehheh

There are three sides to every coin my friend and the sooner you learn that the sooner you secure your longevity in this game. I've been at this for years with no blown up accounts so I'm no newbie having consistent successes through humility and an open mind.

I agree that that the trend is up but I think we finally get a retrace that is bigger than those buying right now think. It could back down to retest that LTL on the daily chart before it goes above 1.50. All in my humble opinion.

in 35 minutes bigest auction of treasuries will be in progress.So if anything happens it will be then.As for todays happening i think.possible big longs since everybody expect to go ok with this auction.Goverment will buy again it means it will let some more money in market.so dollar will go down maybe and euro...We arw arround daily Pivot for now.last 1 hr candle didnt close below
so wil see what this candle doo.I am making smal positions all day and now waiting 30 minutes more

Could be? Who really knows? 1.4915 then 1.4840 then 1.4770 will be tough nuts to crack though.

I have no real confidence in a move lower yet so I lowered my SL to 1.4941 so I might avoid losing a position from this ranging just above my SL. I'd rather risk 4 pips at the chance to gain 50-100 or more!

Yesterday's 3-yr auction had a nice effect on Fibre, it was oversold 4 times, let's see what the 10-yr auction does, demand is up and the 30-yr yield rose nearly a point this morning.

Today is 25Bn of 10-yr and Thursday is 16Bn of 30-yr (Wednesday is Veterans day)
