It's possible, but I am not a long term trader. Sometimes I wonder if I should be. I am considering the dollar index and the november seasonals. I don't think it will go that low.

Did everyone forget the extremely good demand for the 3 year treasury notes yesterday. This shows that the dollar is still in demand, and buyers are queuing up to get in on the action.
"The $40B US 3-year T-Note auction went extremely well. Massive demand (largest bid/cover of 3.33) with record bid sizes for all three categories (dealers, Direct and Indirect bidders). Indirect bidders took down a record 68.3% of the auction. Bidding was aggressively too with the stop at 1.404%, well below the 1.434% bid in the WI at the moment of the stop. Today, the refunding continues with a $25B 10-year Note auction"

Autochartist pattern complet on H1. I am short at 1.49745, SL at 1.49930. 1st target 1.49300. Reason: breakout of triangle, stochs crossed and pointing down.

Waiting for 4950 also, 1hr trend and lowest fractal on the 15min are both right at 4950. Could bounce right back up.

Whatever, 4950 area buyers looking for. More buyers on 4920.

A large Swiss bank has been seen pushing EUR/USD lower in early New York trade with prices trading hands now around 1.4973. EUR/USD stalled earlier in the 1.5020 area once again amid continued reports of Chinese sales into strength. Bids are eyed on dips to 1.4950/60 area near-term. More are seen at 1.4920.

Shorted at 1.5018 for 60/70 pips. TP 1.4950

Still have 25% of that trade running.

Japanese Finance Minister Fuji, meeting with Geithner in Tokyo, told reporters he supports the US’s strong dollar policy.
Fujii has been all over the map on currencies in his short-time in office, but mostly coming down on the side of letting the JPY strengthen, if that’s the way the market takes it.
USD/JPY and EUR/JPY are both easing in early US trade as the risk trades retrenches after yesterday’s rally.USD/JPY is at 89.88, EUR/JPY at 134.55.
Key levels at 1.5061 in EUR/USD, 93.25 in AUD/USD and 1.0030 in USD/CHF are all holding so far, prompting some profit-taking.

It got down to .4949 in the London session. I had pending buy orders in at 4943 and 4942 that just missed getting filled. I hope it dips again so I can get on the ride up to above 1.50 in the near future.
