Interesting. You must have a long-term insight into this. Unfortunately, my account size (around $12k) may not be big enough to take position trades like those. Salping and intraday/intraweek is good for me and that means not considering long-term objectives (unless they are supplementary)

I dont have a standard account its foolish to have a standard account unless you have a million dollars. Its way to easy to wipe out your account in few trades if you dont have good money mgmt. Yes, I do have a longer term prespective. It works best without worrying about small chump change moves. read my older posts on being a position trader

How come you can trade with whatever account with less than a million dollars?

I am working on an strategy that may solve this issue. Once done will share on FF.

The basic idea comes from a broker's signal service. They suggest a trade price, tp, and sl. Profit target is normally 300 pips with 100 pip sl. But they change the tp and sl every day revising tp and sl every day again 300 and 100 afresh. Many times also change the direction. No trade concludes as planned, but they book profit/loss everyday and close their books.

You can trade with whatever money you want to. Its all abuout money mgmt.I know some one who turned 34K account to a million in 6 months. This by having extremely good money mgmt and discipline and ofcoursse intense chart watching. But having a standard account with lesee then 100k or even a million is not wise unless you are absolutely confident about your trading plan

zilko123,ur the hot man.as u suggested to take long at 1.4825 i took two trade one at 1.4821 and 1.4813 this morning.both are in money.i will be waiting for ur next call.i have put my stop loss at breakeven now any suggestion where i shopuld take my profit, as i should have taken some profit above 1.4915 but didnt.but any way thanks man,ur hot.

Not sure why would any sign up for a signal service. Why pay some one when you can do it on your own. How can you trust their calls sure they may get lucky and get some good calls but in the long run big trading firms like Goldman controll the market. Signing up for a signal service is the worst thing you can do in your trading career but then again its my opinion

I just dont know how and why they where all yelling Short since the last 3 days.

Some even said, that they're charts said Long, but they are going to short.

Ok, but you still believe that tomorrows NFP will push the EUR/USD down?

Because the USA that wants the dollar down, is the same one that releases the reports, I'm not seeing a report that will push the Eur down, I see it going UP


It may go down some pips today, or tomorrow in the evening, but after that, I only see it going wayyyy UP

I dont trade the news but from what I can tell we may have some volatile moves but charts will tell the story. We got rejected at 1.49 area and thats pretty important. If manage to close the week out below that I am seeing more down move. We may see unemployment rate of close to 10% tomorrow and this may trigger the moves but again as I said technicals will show the way. We have a lower high and lower low on weekley that tells me we are heading down but definitly need a daily close below 1.483 region weekley close would be even better
