this is why i always draw multiple trendlines when it comes to a breakout of a strong trend. this chart probably has a broader range of candles than the one you're looking at, but it shows a bounce off a long term trendline.

This was a nice 4hr channel breakout with good momentum..

I am out at the moment, until I see a confirmation one way or the other, because this could go higher and the 4850 is only a resistance, kind of like records are made to be broke so are S/R levels, the ADR is ony an average, so at this point I have no idea what it will actually do, the normal thing would be to stop at the 4850 level and go the other way but this is the FX market it doen not always follow normalcy...

Got out of my shorts at 1.4804 and entered a three times bigger long position. On achieving BE+1, re-entered short.

I am short once again but only upto 1.4800.

That massive move down from 1.5000/1.4900 was a cause of concern for me for last few days. Also few posts on this level, including one last night. It finally happened, but I am content with my one pip plus a better location for short.

Many times got burned when a secondary trend became primary, therefore no more under-estimate power of secondary trends, but plan my escape in advance.

ps. The blue arrow in that chart will apply after it goes back to re-test 1,4800 and finds some support there. Once it does that, I will go long upto 1.4980 or so.

This pair has been in somewhat of a consolidation over the last 5 days, so I think when it breaks those key levels of S/R it is going to go with a lot of momentum in what ever direction it takes....

I think if it closes above 4850 today then the bull run is still on over the next few weeks....unless of course news flashes disrupts the daily trend somehow...

Range and testing daily support. Same high and except yesterday, same low. Market didn't decide yet if yes or not broken daily support. If yes, we go to bearish, if not, we'll go again to 1.500 area, but here also, market will hesitate seen it's already hard resistance.
