You moved your SL to break even already?
My sl is still at 1.64094 below the sonic tunnel, the weekly pivot.

Yes, sonic, I was as always, concerned about the former resistance.

EDIT: Just closed it out for +30 pips Going to wait for LO.

I have set myself a target of 30 pips per day, or 2 losing trades involving 2% of my account & I intend to stick to it till I get better and gain more confidence.

TP1 has been hit now waiting for TP2 not to sure about TP3 but i will see how things go. It could be hit because on the H4 chart it is now showing an upward trend which is good but we will see. Like you said Let the market decide

GU: If anybody is still long, keep a close watch to protect profits. I say this because dropping down to M5, the CCI is now showing divergence.

Well, this trade did actually make it to TP2.

Postmortem:

As sonic mentioned EP should have been earlier & would probably been better at 1.64430 for an extra 20 pips and to cut down the size of the SL.

Any thoughts on this welcome.

Sonic, please give me until next week. Domas4 has been slaving with me over the new Volumes Enhanced version that allows user to set a trigger volume at any TF. The indy will automatically calculate what volume that would be for any other TF. On any TF a line will appear across the volume histogram at that trigger level and a label will tell you the amount. The indy comes with audible and visual/audible alerts. We are final testing it.

There will be a new version of the PivotsMW and PivotsD indys, too.

And there will be a new indy, the BidLine Price & Timer Indicator, which you see in my charts.

The clock indy is the P4L Clock, which has been modified to be placed in a sub-window.

So, all going well, yes, I will be very happy to post the template with the supporting indicators. Most likely next week, just to be sure.

I do not know much about CCI divergence apart from it signals a reversal.
Anyway, I have a good CCI divergence indicator that you may find useful to quickly spot such divergence. Maybe you prefer to find divergence yourself but just in case anyone wants it, here it is.

GU: M5 shows volume coming back down with the price....reducing interest in the price up here. When US open traders get settled in, there could be another pump and they sell into the price climb. Or they just start selling and the price starts dropping. It will be interesting to see which way it goes. But right now it is languishing for lack of interest...the big guns across the pond have done their thing and now wait to watch what the US sharpshooters do. M15 shows CCI at a nice high on that price pump. Overbought?

Just read some Very interesting stuff on divergence.
If this is correct, looks like GU is about to continue the uptrend with hidden divergence.

I just wish there was some way to set this CCI to the 63 setting we are using.

Rasta,u remind me of myself two yrs ago...

Divergence occurs when the momentum of prices up/down slower down...
We already have make good use of WAve analysis...which is based on Price..(yes..Price)...

What we are selling/buying is the price itself.not CCI not MACD divergence..so I suggest you to concentrate on price rather than divergence ...

I don't go looking for divergence. And it is not that often you will find the CCI indicating divergence. It is probably one of the indicators least sensitive to picking up on divergence. So, when it is there...........

Price had just made a powerful run up. I posted about divergence only at that point because it seemed significant that CCI was speaking, and sometimes traders like to "let their winners ride". It seemed reasonable to post of caution.

Edit: Add M15: chart with TF just completed. CCI now showing divergence on this larger TF. Does it mean price will reverse? Not necessarily. But if someone was long on this, caution would be in order, imho.

GU: Take a look now at H4. With less than 10 minutes to go in TF, look at small size of body of candle, and look at volume. Now look back one TF at the size of candle and volume. Seems this current small body with very good volume is saying...."High enough, boys. Sell!"

But, yes, it could still go further north, since this is all speculation on what all that volume means when the price ain't going anywhere.

Edit: Add pic. which is compliments of Sonic. Chart reminds me a lot of #3 in pic.
