Good call.

One more guy yelled for 1.47500 at the begining of this week.

No, I didn't follow the call- decided to go against the move thought it was safer It in fact was, but 50 pip gain does not compare to 350 pip move.

Still holding small short 1.4850

Trend is up but i suspect there are further pips below before another run towards 1.5150
Will be looking to buy around 1.45 area

Typically starting from September onward to January, is the toughest part of the year to trade as the markets are most volatile....

October was the hardest month I've ever had to work in forex, but one of the most satisfying too. Not because of the amount of pips I banked (I've had better months) but because I stuck to my game plan, had faith in how shyt the (Canadian) economy still is, and small trades with excellent MM.

Last year in december we had some pretty strong moves. I wasn't around then. Can some of the older guys share some memories please? I mean, how the hell could it happen to have 200+ moves in 15 minutes? what were the news back then? what were the traders thoughts? I'll start reading this thread back there but I'll be back to read the answers to this question.

I really love the EURUSD, it's really a well-behaved trading vehicle.

Looks like you love the History lol. If these traders knew the future, they kept their long up to 1.5060. Aroud 3000 pips per lot, lol. Maybe they got more from the begining of the year up to now. Trading is also taking informations from the past to project them in the future. No one can guess what future will reserve, but traders try to follow logical thinking of biggests who create the real direction of the market.
No Signal, No Trade. No fundamenals, No headache.

Of course, nobody even suspected back then that the cheerful brothel was not taking place on forex but in the vaults of fed where any bank in the world was receiving free dollars from Bernake as a Christmas present. forex was just the pub they went after and got drunk. exchanged usd for euros and stuff.

but none of 'em traders didn't know. except for elites.

this week is critical time for Eur/Usd >bearish DV on daily chart was shaped
with CCI,RSI and macd(lastweek) and price touch down trend line ,ema 50
and lower border of bolinger band two senario:1-break the support zone(1.4700-1.4670) and fall to 1.4400 zone 2- bounce up and fade bearish dv
(where ? I don't have any idea)
