Let me start by saying that I have been USD long this week, and have been confused and perplexed by the extremely pro-risk reaction to it today.We all know that the GDP was inflated by gov't programs However, Geithner said today that "the US will continue to aid and assist in the recovery.". If today is any indication, the Stimulus is working to keep things afloat, and the gov't plans to keep it that way.

I'm now going bull on the Euro after hearing this because 1)this keeps risk appetite wet, and 2) the Fed has to pay for this by expanding quantitative easing or physically printing more money-neither do well for the USD supply/demand ratio. Just my thoughts.

Personally, I always highlight key levels and draw fibs from those. Lately, in euroland the fibs have actually been really easy. Key resistance levels becoming support. It has happened a couple times on the way up (1.3740 & 1.4450 come to mind). very obvious if you know what to look for.

I like to draw fibs when a leg finishes and maybe from a previous leg and just leave them on a chart. it is amazing when a move hits a fib like a brick wall. Now,...

This is just 1.4480 - 1.5063 fibs. They seem to be pretty helpful to me.....

If I were a day trader of the euro I might even short here with a mental stop if this 4 hr bar close over 1.4850, but I prefer to short cable, aussie or kiwi while holding my beautiful longs

Why are you using 1.4480? Should it not be just 1.4682 if you are retracing the downmove? or if you are fibbing from 1.4480 to the top,,, I believe you have the 100% retracement at 1.4480 not at the top. So start the fib by clicking the 1.4480 and then end it at the top, no retracement at the top then 100% retracement where the move started. Like below. They were perfect here, the first bounce was at 38.2, then 23 stopped it, then went to 50% from where it bounce to 38.2, that sent it to 61.8, where it bounce to 38.2, where we are now...so let's see if it sends back down or houston, I have a problem

Got freaking burned yesterday in the pound and Euro..today is different. Short from 1.4857

Looking for a nice correction of maybe half of yesterday gains.

Bull not yet failed & bear almost due so situation cretical in this pair.Now little down movement in eu may be a part for next bull ,expecting 1.4818/00/1.4780 to take action towards 1.4884 & up.when it will fail nobody knows & as it a crazy friday more up & down should happen. Anyway trade with extreme care in this pair. short on & about to close before open long again if favourable.

So how would 14770 do ya ?

If touched, it would make for a nice reverse H&S pattern on the hourly chart.
50% retrace and was good for a bounce 2 other times during the week...

don't know how relevant this is. would have given it more attention if it had
happened earlier in the asian sesion, as the middle line was at 148 the figure.

ok so, this just happened. i wonder if it means anything ?
A line break (any) would be a good signal, I think.

Bottom line is at 14770~ or thereabouts...

I see gbpusd jump up , is this Frankfurt open ,seems little early.Going to close eu shorts at this price or little below 1.4818 again .

Anyone else sense a nice juicy pullback for about 40/50 pips ?

What the hell....maybe the other way for 40/50 pips.....

any kind of action....along as it don't just sit here, taking a douche......

it's more or less unchanged at the moment anyway.
