As u know, EU member states are not allowed to finance their public deficits by printing money. That is one reason why BOE is gonnal buy government bonds from financial institutions, not directly from the government.

QE should work there...

Does it matter if BOE purchases from financial institution or not? Either way won't it devalue the pound?

Especially opposed to the ECB which (as you stated) can not.

goldmen has been reading acumen and myselfs post. it will take 10 years at least to get out of this mess. euro from .8 to 1.6 in eight years wont be fixed in 6 months. oil from 23 to 147 in 8 years wont get fixed that easily either. you just witnessed the largest tranfer of wealth in modern history. and for a few shinny beads we let it happen... some woke up at 4$ per gallon.. many still dont get it.. we lost more then half our wealth..

Exactly, same shit

Just one more of their manipulative moves...As u know printing money is defined as the central bank financing of government debts. So they can say that it is NOT printing money, cause it is not helping the government to finance its deficit..

But basically it is the same shit Germany did in 1920', and what Zimbabwe is doing for years,,

Btw, is there any Quant trader on this forum??

yep, follow the money. oil is money too.. from throwing rocks to owning large shares of u.s banks ect. with enough left over to finance a few crazies to learn to fly planes. boone got religion... when the pitchforks come out the rest will. we gave it all away.. giving it all away when your the strongest makes you weaker. no matter home many flags you wrap yourself in saying its free trade. its only free till the bill comes due. the bill is due and with people not working it will be hard to pay. all for a few elite whos bs sold us 3$ tennis shoes. add in a quart of blood and the 1000$ bucks we spend each barrel. to protect sand. subtract that and they can drink oil and eat sand..

I see we also have Unemployment claims tomorrow. Beside Core-CPI one of the most useless indicators. But it has quite powerful impact on markets, so what can i do

hmm I see this on my daily chart. H4 doesn't look like that on my side. but anyway I think there is still some more down side before we see a slight rebound

i blame the shell game at ice for that. they sell oil that dont exist to buyers that are the sellers. they pay a small middleman fee but make a false demand on oil to raise price. the saudis prince recently did the exact same thing with his prized horses at auction.. he bought them from himself this raised the price of all his horse stock.. he did this in the open.. how stupid are we really?

True,Shell did some nasty stuff with those naked shorts, but it only has couple % of buying power,that Abu Dhabi and Hall have I've seen those transactions.Billions of dollars,on steroids (leverage..)
