This is my view on things:
In the stock market there are too many waiting for the big drop (to many with short positions already) This is important to notice as the recent rally can be either a huge suckers rally (short covering) or a real one. I believe it is a combination of suckers and 80% of the companies delivering better results, this will continue again next week as there are more results to come... Dow above 10k.

Oil should meet some resistance here mirroring resistance on the EURO.

1.5 huge psychological barrier...Good probability trades http://cdn.forexfactory.com/images/s...m/big_grin.gif

I believe this is a very good place to set a long with SL100/TP 4-500...
But I have to keep my long with the TP I placed last week (sticking to the plan which is backtested, always the best solution).


If you are long or short you could "easy" harvest 4-500 pips if you are right in the first place...

P.S. As Trading801 directed me to some news about Trichet last week. I got a bad feeling, he is negative to the strong EUR...
And when he asked JPY to keep a less volatile currency in 2007 they actually did that... (random or luck?)...

Anyway if you pick the right way next week with a 100 pips or so, I would suggest to buy/sell more on pullback...

It is a time when nearly every finance minister with the exception of perhaps Australia and NZ are negative on their currencies being strong. The cost to domestic industry is just too high. Even Canada is making noises about intervention (I don't see it happening yet though) With the Euro zone still working on bailing out the Eastern countries, it would be very damaging to have the E/U break much higher.

thanks for your reply at my pm, I'm currently testing your strategy on 4h timeframe and trying to adapt it to mine wich is mainly done with hedging.

As you told,market this week could easily go both ways by several hundred pips so it seems to me perfect to backtest it.

above/below go accordingly long/short
trade set& forget before Tokyo start 07:00 (06:00 close bar) your time 21:00.

Anyway take a -20/70 SL/TP and you will be sweet...


This morning was a loosing trade so a even better chance for you tonight... Hihihi

last 17 trades gave me 495 pips... (7 losing trades out of 17)...


This is just one of many ways I trade...

They had last Friday already a long bias, sorry can't find their short bias must have been more then 2 trading days ago???

Apparently bear is taking controll & sell off in h4 continue with failure bull attempts , still trying hard & up though . But I closed the long taken in the morning & start building shorts. tp 1.4919 , sl 1.5077 primarily.

while indexes are green I will not look for short... I have a thought of opening shorts too but not until the indexes get red
