At the start of this last little fiasco it was going nuts...with very little effect on the Dollar pairs??

[UK SEP RETAIL SALES] are much weaker than expected at 0% (the second month running that sales have been flat) vs a +0.5% f/c putting the annual rate at 2.4% after 2.1% in Aug. The figures come as a surprise given stronger BRC and CBI surveys. On a 3m/3m basis sales are +0.9% vs 1.2% in Aug. Textile, clothing and footwear at -0.5% m/m were behind the weakness in today's overall figure. Today's report may lead some to question tomorrow's f/c of +0.2% in the prelim Q3 GDP. With unemployment rising, wage growth low and consumers building up their savings, spending is likely to remain subdued for some time and with spending accounting for 65% of GDP its path is key for overall growth prospects.

Early whispers of a semi official buyer in [USD/CHF] and Eur/Chf are now building into something more as both pairs begin to squeeze higher.

a tad according to a latest BoE Trends in Lending Report (Aug) published a few moments ago. The BoE said the flow of lending to businesses improved in Aug but still remained in minus territory, with the major UK banks reporting a rise in spreads and fees on new lending. The report (released alongside disappointing ONS retail sales figs though) showed levelling in mortgage approvals with new applications at 56k. Gross mortgage lending increased to Gbp 10.2 bn (vs 9.6 bn - highest since Jan). Corporate lending, meanwhile, showed the net monthly outflow trickle to a tiny Gbp 0.8 bn from Jul's record 15.4 bn though lenders reported more credit available as money markets improved (LIBORs down to pre-crisis/normal levels). The BoE said firms found credit tight with companies still deleveraging, as lending to firms was 4.2% down in Aug (-3.5% Jul) & consumer credit slowed (0.7% vs 1.3%).

yea.. plus bad european stocks.. but there is a strong trendline on 1H so watch out.. and we just got on pivot support

If the 15M candle will close above 1.49526 we will have a bullish engulfing pattern and bullish divergence on the cart. We have the same divergence on both 5M and 1H. Plus is a retrace of more than 61% after an impulsive wave. It gathers energy for long.

Strong?? It's made of Titanium. All the more reason I will run through the woods screaming with joy if it should break, or go hide in a cave and cry if it doesn't.

this is still needed for shorts.. but a long at the trendline was just missed.. zig or zag... shorts safer below trendline 6490 and next support 6475 strong move below could be a good short..

I`m not using such i thing as gartley patterns or other insects like butterfly so can`t comment or advise but if it will work for you that`s most important.
