me too, but 4950 area is proving to be a strong resistance, tomorrow is unemployment claims, it should move the dollar higher , there is no body ealse to claim I had file twice already this month

I think it's probably tradeable as you say. there is a rumour that US will increase interest rates and if they do then we will see the Euro fall, as well as the Dow. For the US economy I think it could be disastrous to increase interest rates now. The weaker the USD dollar the better it is for the internal economy and only galloping inflation would be a reason to hike rates, in my opinion. The latest inflation figures that came out were lower than expected. It would be time for USA to take the bitter pill and let the dollar fall another 10 or 20% so that market forces can build on that. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about because the deficit will continue to rise and only protectionism would protect US industry/economy.

We are still in the "bubble" mind set and politicians haven't got a clue what to do. Instead of jailing the junk bond fraudsters and closing down the financial sector thieves with proper controls they call it "market forces" and "must be left alone" in the meantime the average tax payer is picking up the bill for keeping banks and industry alive.

All the above applies to the UK as well. Except that here we are supposed to feel sorry for the politicians who have been milking their expenses in an attempt to prove that we voted in a load of thieves so we should get what we deserve. Sorry for the rant!

Yeah, I decided to liquidate on pure gut feeling because of the high levels and blown up indicators of these days, but I never thought the government would raise taxes at the same night.

No. Wall Street. The support staff, cleaners, sandwich makers and all they're all out of work. More than 99% didn't even know what a credit default swap was. Much less that it was insured, triple A rated by Moody's and reinsured.

The sad thing is that my next door neighbour's rabbit was offered a mortgage for a new hutch but died from shock when it got a cheque for $100,000 dollars.

I love it when this tread gets political and sentimental, let keep it up guys i'm learning a lot here, I thought it was bush and reagan who started with the american dream of owning a house s%$#t but if it was carter then i'm happy because is the same a$$#% who let the mariel bridge open to thousands of delincuents and thiefs come from cuba to infest this country, a lot of good people came but the bad where so bad that gave us the good ones a bad image, wow poor democrats, who invented democrats ah?. And now in the midle of the bigest crissis after the 1930's depression this clown dicide to reform health care at the cost of the tax payers, because the goverment is broke, and dicide to fix others countrys with the tax payers money and the money for defense and don't give me that b^%$# s%$# of defending the country from outside that this a%$# hoels don't even have houses they leave in caves never the less missiles, so what are we defending outside the petroleum interest, let the BP and shell hire their own military mercenaries oh no is to espensive so we the tax payers have to pay the favors to put this people in power oh b%%$# s%%$# with this country I'm taking my raft and going some where ealse, I'm very gratefull of this country for alowing me come here and start a new life bud they are out of control with corruption, they will never make it out of this one me think, there is my rant

Still swamped here, having little time to check the markets, let go post here...

Turns out, those pants I had to change (and swallow the loss) are finally sold out (spitting out the loss), thank God...

Now reloading the inventory to sell more on the internet , this time a little bit more pricey, call me greedy, I call it law of demand and supply

Still out of the markets, waiting for a correction, that might be coming shortly. Oscilators are breathing already and moving averages are approaching at Bovespa.

I started trading this stock Gafisa, a construction company that has one of the more volatile price actions in Bovespa. It easily puts 3% up, problems come when it puts 5% down, so gotta have nervers to trade it.

And know when it's the right time to jump in...

Contruction should be good with the olimpics coming to town, concreate factorys should do ok too, and steel, also the hiring companys that do the hiring for all this employees
