I know from your postings that you lock in profit immediately, but once you have done so, how much room do you give the position to run/what is the trail in pips or is it based on time axis (like last three candles) or previous support and resistance? Where do you take out a position that clearly went against you?
You know from my previous posts that I am a huge fan of your indicators. Understanding where you are coming from would make it much easier to integrate them into my trading (no disrespect, I just want to say that I believe I should make them my own and blame myself for any losses, rather than understanding them as a packaged system and point fingers if something happens).
To the pips!

DislikedHi Lion King,
I think I understand how to enter using the Tail, what I am not clear about is when to exit.
- On a cross on the low timeframe?
- On a cross on the high timeframe?
- Profit target in profit only?
- Hard stop loss?
- Trailed?
- Discretionary?
etc....

DislikedThe worst for insolvencies is yet to come in the UK, though the number of companies with significant and critical financial problems has fallen in absolute terms, a report from the insolvency firm Begbies Traynor showed Tuesday. According to the report, 134,000 British companies showed material signs of financial distress in the third quarter of 2009.Ignored
DislikedThanks. Is that EA publicly available? I can't find it through Google, and it has a different name from the one you included in the zip file for this thread.Ignored
DislikedFair enough, you've been very generous with all the other stuff already. And knowing it's yours and not posted at least I don't need to spend more time looking for it ;-)
But if you don't mind sharing some of the logic behind it, what do you consider a reasonable trail (in pips) for GBP/USD? How far would you want it to go into profit before you pull your stop to breakeven?
Thanks always.Ignored
DislikedTrading MPC Minutes:
- This is gonna be a fun ride, so first lets do some home work
- 4 hour tail says i need 1 more candle to work out what to do, which on fxpro comes 30 minutes after the news
- 1 hour, currently is showing some signs of up move, though weak
- As usual it will be 0-0-9, nothing new there with 134,000 british companies inthe drain, they just cannot think of raising rates.
- Hell, we see a fake spike up and a longer drop down.
- I would love to go short on that spike

Dislikedprice action is typically defined as the movement of candles in respect to supply and demand and requires very careful observation to discern the direction of the move
take GJ for example, GJ has the typical mood to make a false breakout in the opposite direction before startinga fresh trend, this part gets ignored by normal indicators and hence people get caught in it.
to lean price action, just use the default mt4 grid chart with candles, nothing else, no indicators and try to view the areas of supply and demand. the grid itself works as trend...Ignored
