Is it just me or does this forum seem to have accumulated a number of embryonic guru threads this weekend? I am constantly surprised (shocked?) by the willingness of people to put their trust in complete strangers who offer no proof of competence except a catchy tag line or mysterious chart hieroglyphics. The fact that posters are ardently defending the thread starter within a couple of pages, seems to me to be almost cultist. I know of certain 'movements' started in this forum which have now reached international proportions, I can almost hear the lemmings hitting the rocks from here.
My observation on these types of things is that if there is somebody who actually knows something worthwhile and they want to share it, they will do so in a straight forward and logical manner, there will be no ego stroking or or slow striptease.
Perhaps the difference between the people who jump on these bandwagons and those who cast a more critical eye is the difference between those who are going to make it and the many who won't? Because let's face it, if your not able to make basic logical deductions about motivation, economics and human nature then you're hardly going to be able compete in the shark pool of global markets.
