Hello Everyone! Well I guess it's about time to introduce myself. I am a pilot from Canada who has been following this thread for a few months after hearing about it from Ken at Babypips. (Thanks for the info Ken!) I've been trying to learn the ways of the local masters and have been trading the system live now for a couple of weeks and making slow progress. I will be trading as much as I can during the day and some Asian sessions here and there depending on my schedule. I look forward to meeting everyone and contributing as much as I can. I want to say thanks to all who contribute and make this thread so awesome.

Hi guys,

How did you trade the reversal marked in the green box. Which one of the three DBHLC to take and why? The first one was right under the longterm down TL from 2007.

Please see attached chart.

I took it out of the 648x area twice and got paid nice both times on it. I see what your saying about the dbhlc prior, but if you would have looked at higher tf, you would have seen how she could have moved to 6500. I took the DBHLC the 2nd time off the h1 when she closed then went back up to test the opening price of the dbhlc candle. She then dropped over 150 pips. All in my bag waiting to catch them. Don't forget to look at your htf. They are a must. Just like the long I took at 636x that I rode to the top. The h4/h1 and m15 all supported the move.

I have been doing this for almost 5 years and I have FINALLY got use to looking at the htf before making my decision on the trade and it is the biggest help I have found.Yeah I know 5 years to figure that out is a long time but I am a little hard headed!!

Glad you've finally figured it out. The HTF are important. We use the m15 for our entries to minimize draw downs. Not that I won't enter a trade off of the h4 or daily and walk away, but when it comes to intraday trading, the m15 is my entry off of the HTF. Even if one only looks at the h4 and h1 and not the daily, they should be able to bring in positive pippage everyday. It only takes one setup to make it in this industry. Whether it's a wait for the breakout then buy off the 21 on the m15 or selling the prior days high or buying the prior days low. There are numerous setups that we've tried to lay out for people, it's up to them to find the one that fits them best.

This is the craziest candle, gone up 20 pips on nothing but lucky for me I had locked in +7 pips

Wow just saw that, glad you got some you were just 1 pip away from your goal, my daily candle closes in about 5min will try to stay awake or set my alarm for London open
