Closed long for 20 pips. Got to go to cook now and I cannot watch the PA.
It will retrace to 38.2 or 23.6. If it will be 23.6 it's a tricky one because if close below the open of the day might want to retest 1.4954.

I tend to agree with you for a number of reasons.

1. I do it because if shorts before a very strong resistance do not work, can recover more than my loss after it is broken.

2a. If I go short at 1.5000 or near, pa may comeback for a re-test and rescue me.

2. If someone is trying to protect a level, will protect before pa reaches there

3. If someone wants to achieve a number, it is achieved as soon as that resistance gets hit

4. History of this pair. When it breaks levels of 500 pips, goes 50/80 pips before falling 150/250 pips.

ps. I incurred loss because it did not fall after breaching 1.4500, therefore I am still looking at 1.4500

5. Two resistances within just 80 pips above 1.5000, etc

6. Anthing can happen

But anything can really happen.

I will follow the uptrend with buy orders at the retracements towards 1.4960-70 with target at 1.5080 and higher. Stops should be set below 1.4920. alternatively, I could try sell orders at a possible reach of 1.5060-80 area, with target at 1.5000 and stops above 1.5130.
