Yes, seeing trades teleport themselves into instant profit totally justifies an opaa! Now how long that lasts is an entirely different matter.

? wouldn't the monthly have to close above that line to consider it broken on that chart ?

Yes you are right.

But I cannot wait for the month-end and therefore consider it broken.

And isn't expanding twice as fast next year, really just contracting half as fast as this year given the figures? I may have overdone it with beer.

Well little Missy, if we head that way then I'd not bet on it stopping at S1.

1.4816-1.4790-1.4765-1.4756

buy these levels on the way back up if you want, but don't just bet on anyone of them stopping a pullback in its tracks. If your short sell the retest of anyone but keep your stops close. I'm still long here but I have no problem playing with the CHF counter trend.

all signals give its go down from last week its hold at 1.4967 strong resistance

Given that most people around here seem to work the lower time frames, I'd say setting a point to quit is a good idea. I don't look in on this thread as much as I used to so I'm mostly guessing at the time frame thing (it used to be that way).

Thanks Knuckledrag, as I am looking over my results I think this is actually a good idea... I have actually backtested my results now

I am usually not a discretionary trader but would really learn how to do it. But I am scared as I have tried that in the beginning and I am just to emotionally evolved. This is why I love to backtest and enter at specific time close/open bars with Set & forget.

Ok, so here is how I will implement the goal plan....
I have 2 systems now which gives me 44 pips a day on an average...

44*5 = 220 pips for this week, when that goal is reached I step back and wait for the next week...

How does this sound?
By looking at my results this can actually give me a more stable profit but not more as I could have gotten by continuing the trades...

Wow I think I have reached a new level! I haven't read about this ever have anyone of you guys?

I guess it depends on how you trade? I normally put on 2 trades a day in FX
