The higher timeframe scenario I'm watching to see kick off of a downtrend is (1) a break of the 10/2 low and 10/11 low trendline on the 4H, (2) a break of the 9/3 low and 10/1 low trendline on the Daily, and (3) 1.4480 low being taken out. We'll see....

Sorry for noobish question what are the 9/3 10/2 i understand what you mean but don't put the lines together now.
Oh i got it i believe now what you mean yeah if these will be broken then we might come back down but i still believe 1.5 is in place next week. I would like to see nice down hill ride but i made this mistake already so don't want to make second one now. I will go with the trend and i cant see anything broken yet.

last time i checked (last week) i needed 4422 taken out for the bears to take a foothold..extremily unlikely unless the bottom falls out.. but nothing i see says bears are shitting in the woods..until then i only short the wide line or hidden bear divergence. like we could have as described in last post. and longing the trendlines..with tight sl.. keep in mind im bearish on economy and do think equitys are a bubble..

Well i would not be so sure depends how much you are able to tank but i will not try to tank another 160 pips or more. It might come down but so far it got rejected.

I exited my LONG for +5 pips......still looks like it can climb..but CHF is having a Hard time breaking support at .0171 so I am backing out as we are almost back to the spike high at 4913.....

Vinesh2....taking your advice and bowing out for the moment....wait for a better set-up......overall good week.... +45 pips after 2 losers...

hey i was told you could code a change in meta indis.. if so a overlay indi that you can switch from candles to lines and would be greatly in your debt.

Gator I think we will range from here on to 1.496 area. Once earnings season is over which is next week I think we are on our way to 1.40 in the coming weeks.

We tested 1.484 region twice in two days unable to break and I think next week will break that

My 4Hr Indicators have already flipped the trend....it takes alot to do this..I guess we'll see what happens next week...

i dont see it yet. bears lost chance 8-21/9-7.. since 9-8 its all bulls.. but abc puts us back to 4646 or 4619... then back up to 5057/5160... not a prediction..but even 4619 is part of a bull move..

i found one i think.. i just dont see it after i saved it in my idis in platform. but it is in my indis in expert idi file like the other indis .pc dummy

Sometimes you have to close and restart MT4 before it will recognize the indi, if the indi is saved to the indicators folder while the platform is open.

I was just in the middle of a trade when Oanda requoted me from a 1 pip to 10 pip spread. I was watching the numbers when my profit disappeared and turned into a loss without a candle movement? Does this happen often or happen to anyone else?

The spreads on everything went from normal to wide in an instant.

its not unussual but not normall...funny its the third or forth time i noticed people reporting this..and if i recall right all those used oanda too

Happens every weekend. Also happens a minute or two before a news release.

That wasn't a requote. At around 0440 - 0445pm EST Oanda switches to "weekend spreads". That happens every friday. I recommend planing your trades accordingly. (e.g. scalping won't work very well)
