Certainly a reasonable strategy. You would need to be careful with this when you have multiple releases at the same time, though. Especially if their results wind up conflicting....makes for an interesting ride. I look at trading the news like a game of musical chairs....

well i m disappointed a little now...news all positive not good enough...back to charts then:0

i do have feeling that this goes north US bulls wants some more longs But i am ready for both

I wish I would have know it was going down this far.. I picked the top from the daily bars at 1.4963 ish.. and shorted there.. took profit at 1.4900.. should have used trailing stops instead.. I needed that trade.. My last 5 have been losers from the second I hit the buy/sell button.. I'm not convinced the protection of 1.50 is that tough.. yet.. if it fails it again though, I might start looking for the 1.44-1.46 range..

PA to the downside is definately displaying a loss in momentum, but not enough to be clear about whether we're reversing. Bollingers suggest we're going into consolidation (5M).

what do you make out of the daily?maybe this thing have topped for now...i know they say never trust a stochastic
bulls saved it yesterday but maybe run out of steam today..u never know though

I'm out of the market but Ichimoku still says down. I'll wait until price close below Kumo ('green cloud').

In my experience, one of the most reliable chart pattern is a ' W '. W means down! This is a very high probability set up. The 15 min chart will make a very nice W if price gets back above 4950. I will be shorting that area with stops above 1.50-- 1st tp @ 4860, 2tp well below that (to be determined).

Yeah, I took my profit and ran. I don't think we can say the run downward is over. Either way, I'm watching for a clear trend in either direction.
