are we looking to set a buy stop at 1.4855 in anticipation of a breakout?

are we expecting an uptrend stall at 1.4900? or will it blast through to 1.5000?

Actually, I'm waiting to see what happens next....could be up, could be down. If I get entry for up, that means I will get double pips compared to everyone that held. If it goes down, I get the pips I took on the upside plus the pips ripe for picking below. Avoid fatalism and just go with the flow. Focus on consistent wins rather than chasing the extraordinary. Do this...and you'll make money.

The unspoken reality. It is natural for politicians and news reporters to look for any crum of daylight for the economy and emphasize that. Likewise, they would prefer to ignore the bad signs from the economy. It is just human nature. No one wants to go to work every day and tell the world that things are just horrible. So that is what they do, playing up any percieved good news and down playing any bad news. As for the rest of us, we follow their lead and take our queus from them. The reality is that the US enconomy is in very, very, very bad shape.... and it it not going to be good again for a long, long, time (maybe never). Now, what that means to the E/U when that reality is realized is anyone's guess. Probably will mean a stronger dollar in the short term...but long term... no way to be sure.

1.500 is as sure as the preverbial. Anything else is just noise, IMHO.

Oh yeah i am still short.... D chart show double top also if the 1D candle closes as inverted hammer then we should come down if you look technically but these day's you never know what can happened. And i am not an expert on this at all just trying to learn all this .. anyways if i will loose my shorts here i have been doing 80% profit for my account last 2 weeks so i will not loose much..... but anyways i can see it more coming down than up.... and i am going with my plan of being short. Now waiting for asia session.

I trade pure price action, not patterns....but the "W" has already played out on the 5M. What is now staring at you is an "M" on the 15M. The support of this "M" breaking will likely bring about a healthy downtrend. But this hasn't happened yet....and may not happen.

I'm seeing a bull flag on USDJPY, pin bar on AUDUSD daily and a bearish engulfment on the 1Hr. Unless you got in for a scalp around 1.4800 I'd stay out.

I totally agree but that was a bit more elaborated then I intended

My initial comment was mostly because most people here act like they only sell so they need reasons to do it(sell), not to trade. And even when just a fart shows a larger bear candle, the calls for "the fall" begin. So i guess these news could mean for those yet another reason for the long awaited downfall.
I also expect to ride this down, when the time comes. (Charts tell me too)

Now, I am well aware of this bubble we went into pretty fast too

Not saying it won't, & I'm just along for the ride, north or south, it's all good, although, of course, I'd rather be goin south for the winter. But, in whose interest is a weak $ at E/U 1.5 and above?

So....two US banks sold euro's, Goldman gets a downgrade, and financial earnings reports are coming out in the next few days.

These are the crooks that manipulate the market to begin with. I have a feeling this may be the start but I would just like some confirmation.
