Does anyone here stop when they reach their monthly target?
Asking because I might be interested in doing that myself but have no idea how to do it...
example, I were up +34% on friday last week for october. Then today I am down at +26% for october... Normally I am up 20-30% in FX monthly...
I easily hit 30% ++ then it goes to 40% etc... before ending the month around 20-30%.... Should I use TA on my recordings?

Don't know about others, but me never reach my monthly target of 5% working three shifts. Therefore, I don't have to worry about this.
But then again if you have a big account 5% can be massive 20-30% is really good for me, I am not complaining
But I would love to get it consistent to 40% and then leave 20% every month... But again it all comes down to spend less i guess...
If you have a problem getting over a mental earnings barrier you could try getting to a doable target of say, 30% which is easy for you and then only risking 5% percent of that over the remaining month, if you lose it you are done for the month, if you profit, by profiting like this you should eventually be able to take out that mental stop. I'm sure there are other methods, that is one I use to get to my next levels of Lot size or targets or percentage made over period of time.

I have similar issue but i have more some magical number barriers... so far i am 70% within 16 day´s hopefully i wont get back to 20% or so..
It's awesome to have 70% but how do you trade? how many trades a week/month?
and if you are scared to go back to 20% for me that would have been like 100 losses on a row... I am guessing you are not keeping up a good r/r??

hi guys i hope this pair is going to 1.4736 area as this baby is some how confusing about its direction.
In other words if we break this area...1.4736 is just a temporary stop on the longer path down. Not to mention....this double top on the hourly could be a trigger for an even bigger double top on the daily...whether we go straight down now or retest the september highs first.
To conclude...any sell with stop loss above 1.4850 is attractive right now from a technical point of view. Hope this helps
