Just using weekly pivots ,price at R1 1.4701 back from R2 tested break this level & seems will again & again towards the pivot .still on short new sets.Don't know or have time to see any news not thinking doing all opposite others doing or market intention .

While I completely agree with a reversal in the very near future ( see sentiment extreme ). One can't count on a monthly doji when it's not even mid way through the month.....

This bounce off the 1.4800 area seems like a definite double top to me though.

The monthly candle have lots of time to close.

Before a dollar reversal I would like to see a good push with capitulation.
And now I can't see valid reasons to buy dollar.
To me a test of 75.00 is just a matter of time, and looks inescapable.

But with the earning season picking speed next week with all the big financial reporting, we could see, a reaction. But nothing too deep imho. But who knows...

Next week we have:

- Intel
- JP Morgan Chase
- Charles Schwab
- CIT Group
- Citigroup
- Goldman Sachs
- Nokia
- AMD
- Google
- IBM
- Bank of America
- General Electric
- Haliburton

We should have a clearer picture next Friday.

Whatever happens, the charts will tell us the truth, the only question is: Will we be ready to hear what they say ...

yes.. its a coin toss.. this is a volitile month for the next 4 weeks of earnings reports.. but if top line is not improved bottom line may not matter. this could be last year all over again. remember last year at this time earning reports were still ok.. i hope and pray you are right..

I still have shorts from .4777 seeking .4666. I would not be surprised to see a Big Dog low volume move here before the close of business. I'm guessing the Phillipine central bank. The only ones running up the euro are the hedge funds working for the Fed & them dudes are already on the train to the Hamptons.

yeah and they got phuked at 4$ per gallon gas last year.. and they will get phucked again.. with no bail out this time.. they talk the market up so they can bail.. "buy the dip buy the dip".. meanwhile they are selling a little at a time causing the dip..next they short..rinse and repeat.. each cycle steals our future. get out your pitchfork

Waiting to close last piece of action , only 1.4690 will do.Otherwise it should go a little up at the week end last hr. Enough is enough no need for any trades to open & next should play below the new weekly pivot.

looks like I will be holding my shorts over the weekend, not usually a good idea, but unless we get a sell off at the close, I will take the risk as I see some more downside potential.

It would be nice if we get a close below 1.4676 - but I think that potential is quite limited. Would be nice, though....
